QUINDOS Unknown Gear The package QUINDOS Unknown Gear can be used to determine the parameters of an unknown spur or helical gear using a precision coordinate measuring machine, which can be turned into a gear tester with QUINDOS software. By measuring a single gear tooth, all the relevant parameters, such as normal module, number of teeth, pressure angle, helix angle, addendum modification factor etc. can be calculated. A feature, which is even not available at most gear tester. Applications: Re-manufacture of broken gears with unknown parameters. The package QUINDOS Unknown Gear can be used to

which can be turned into a gear tester with QUINDOS

software.

By measuring a single gear tooth, all the relevant
