On-line Donations to Parish: The on-line donations facility on the Diocesan Website is now operation-
al which enables parishioners to make on-line contributions to their own individual parish. Log on
to www.killaloediocese.ie and using the Donate button, select your own parish to make your contribu-
tion. Donations to parish funds, priests collections or other special collections can be accommodated.
This is an additional facility which will work in tandem with parish websites where separate on-line dona-
tion facilities are currently operating. We hope that you will find this service useful for your ongoing sup-
port which is greatly appreciated.
Re-Opening Our Churches: Creating a Safe Place to Worship
There is no obligation to attend Mass. The Sunday Obligation has been lifted and you may attend Mass
any day of the week if you so wish or continue to view Mass on the Parish Webcam or listen to on the
Parish Radio Link.
Public Masses resumed last Monday 29th June. As we reopen for Public Worship please follow the
guidelines listed below for everyone's safety and well being.
Families with a Mass intention will be given first preference to attending Mass. Families are asked to be
in the Church fifteen minutes prior to Mass starting. Members of a family who reside together do not
need to observe social distancing, but must of course remain socially distant from other members of the
congregation.
Parishioners attending Mass should wear a face covering in Church. (Please note face coverings are
not suitable for children under the age of 13. While wearing a face covering is recommended it is not
mandatory).
Upon entering the Church at the designated entrance please follow directions of the usher who will
show you where to sit. Please Exit the Church as directed.
Readers & Eucharistic Ministers are welcome to return to public ministry, however, there is no pressure
if you do not wish to return to ministry. Readers will read from the missalette provided. Eucharistic Min-
isters must wear a face covering. If you do not have one, a face mask will be provided.
Altar Servers will not exercise their ministry until further notice. Choirs will not resume their ministry
until further notice. A Cantor and Organist may provide music and song if they so wish.
People attending Mass will not be asked to knell.
Distribution of Holy Communion: You are asked to follow the direction of the usher. There will be a table
between the Minister of Communion and the Communicant with hand sanitisers.
