Quiet On The Set

Scene 1

Page 2: Quiet On The Set

KABOOM!

Page 3: Quiet On The Set

Oh no there was an explosion in my apartment!

Page 4: Quiet On The Set

All my stuff is gone!

Page 5: Quiet On The Set

Even my Yin-Yang table from Ikea!

Page 6: Quiet On The Set

Yes sir your whole life is over and you can’t go up there to retrieve anything, police orders.

Page 7: Quiet On The Set

I guess I’ll call Tyler Durden from the plane because I need to talk to someone.

Page 8: Quiet On The Set

Hey I have your number here in my pocket and quite frankly, it’s the only thing I have now. You’ll never guess what just happened. Would you care to meet up for a drink?

Well yeah man, sure thing.

Page 9: Quiet On The Set
Page 10: Quiet On The Set

I’m really sorry to hear about what happened. I understand it was your whole life.

Page 11: Quiet On The Set

It really was. I just wonder why me, why did MY apartment have to blow up.

Page 12: Quiet On The Set

You know what I mean?

Page 13: Quiet On The Set

Yeah, I hear you. It’s a tragic thing but I think you may be able to look at this in other ways.

Page 14: Quiet On The Set

Yeah how so? I felt like I was almost finally complete…

Page 15: Quiet On The Set

…and now everything is gone.

Page 16: Quiet On The Set

Here have another drink and hear me out…

Page 17: Quiet On The Set

You can now use this as a new beginning for yourself. I know you said you really like the stuff you had but isn’t there something else you may have wanted? In the catalogs you must have had your eye on other pieces of furniture. For example like a toss up on whether you wanted the Yin-Yang table or the table made of different colored beer caps.

Page 18: Quiet On The Set

Yeah there were plenty of times where I didn’t know if I wanted this thing or that, so what?

Page 19: Quiet On The Set

Well now you get to have a second chance on buying these things that you use to define you. If you think you might like the other table, now is your chance to try it out.

Page 20: Quiet On The Set

Oh, or the chance to maybe try a whole new style. The possibilities of good things to come from this are endless.

Page 21: Quiet On The Set

Am I making sense or does this just sound like crazy talk?

Page 22: Quiet On The Set

You know Tyler, it is a weird way of looking at it but you’re right. I might be able to start over and try out some of the furniture that I wanted but was too scared to get so I went with the safe choice.

Page 23: Quiet On The Set

Well, I’m glad I could help you out. If there’s anything else you need let me know. I’m here for you man.

Page 24: Quiet On The Set

Well there is one thing, if you’re offering.

Page 25: Quiet On The Set

Name it.

Page 26: Quiet On The Set

I need a place to stay tonight, and since I feel like we hit it off pretty well I was wondering if it would be alright if I crashed at your place?

Page 27: Quiet On The Set

You got yourself a deal man.

Page 28: Quiet On The Set

Honestly though man if you need to talk I’m here for you.

Thanks Tyler I really appreciate it.

You’re Welcome.
