What are Tasks?Tasks are to-do items that organize your schedule and help you manage the essential
items surrounding each event.
How do I get started?
How can WeddingWire help?WeddingWire Tasks provide an easy and efficient management solution so that you are always
on top of your to-do list and never miss a step in the planning process!
• Schedule fully customizable tasks for today, tomorrow, or anytime in the future and
tailor them to each client
• Stay up to date by easily viewing upcoming tasks and receive notifications when tasks
are past due so that you can quickly get back on track
• Create SmartTasks that are linked to certain products or packages and are automatically
triggered when you book that event based on where you are in the planning process.
Why should I care?Staying organized with tasks allows you to manage all the details of each event so that you can
plan your time more efficiently and provide outstanding service from the time of booking to the
day of the event.

Step by Step: Tasks
WeddingWire Tasks help you manage your time efficiently so that you never miss a detail!
Follow these simple steps to get started.
Get Started! Tasks:1. Under the ‘Clients’ tab, select ‘Tasks’
2. Select the ‘Add Task’ button
3. Connect the task to a specific client and event by choosing the 'Select' button next to their
name
4. In the text box provided, enter the details of your task (be as specific as necessary!)
5. Choose when this task is due:
a. On a specific date
b. Before event
c. Day of event
d. After event
6. If the task is due on a specific date, click the calendar icon and select the correct date
7. Select ‘Save & Close’ if you are done, or choose ‘Save & Add Another’ to create an
additional task
1. Click your account settings icon at the top of the page next to your name
2. Select 'Products & Packages' from the menu
3. Click the 'SmartTasks' tab
4. Click the ‘Add Task’ button
5. Choose a product or package to connect with this SmartTask
*Reminder: When this item is added to a contract, the task will be automatically triggered upon
booking based on where you are in the planning process
6. Enter the details of this task in the text box provided
7. Select when the task is due:
a. Day of Event
b. Before Event
c. After Event
8. Click the ‘Save’ button when you are done
