Follow these steps for immediate results :

Have your child start listening right away! Smart Shorties works because kids already know the

music. Now let them learn the lyrics! Listen at home, in the car and on an mp3 player – anywhere!

As your child memorizes the songs, they should complete each page of the Student Workbook,

including the mini-quiz. If your child does not pass a quiz, listen to those songs more.

Give your child the “Multiplication Timed Pre-Test” on page 2 of the Student Workbook. Then,

after they memorize the lyrics, give them the duplicate test in the back of the workbook.

Use the Teacher Answer Key to check your child’s work from the Student Workbook. This will make

you a smart parent!

The lyrics are the math facts so use the Lyric Book to be sure your child is memorizing all of the

lyrics. If your child is struggling with a particular fact, have them read the lyrics and practice us-

ing the karaoke version on the Parent/Teacher CD.

The Parent/Teacher CD includes additional music tracks without the verse lyrics so your child can

practice the math facts from memory – like karaoke! Kids love this challenge!
