How are you able to do music for a living? 5. What is your process for writing a song? Chords, Lyrics, Melody, etc. 6. Where do you get your ideas? 7. Your style is a blend of folk and country. Why do you think Country music is met with such animosity from some circles, and why do you like it? 8. Why is folk music important to American culture? 9. Do you only write when you’re inspired or do you sometimes try to write regardless of whether you’re in the mood? 10. Talk about the difference between playing live vs. recording in the studio. What do you like and dislike about both? 11. You’ve been to some pretty incredible places. What are a few that stand out? 12. How has becoming a husband and a father changed your perspective on life, and does that affect your music? 13. You’ve released three albums and performed extensively around San Diego.
