I have turned the table of results into a pie chart so we can easily see the proportion of my results.

This is a very spread result, but by using a pie chart it is easy to tell that the most popular is the interviews.

Research Analysis. My aim was to create a questionnaire that was appealing to teenage male and female, that was related to music magazines. This was so I could collect primary research for my project. I kept the questionnaire short and to the point I felt this helped make it stay with the subject of music and would allow the participants to answer straight and correct.

From looking at my results I have found that the majority prefer Rock magazines. I will be basing my magazine on this genre. Another point was not many people will pay more than £2.00 for the magazine so I will keep mine priced relatively low. Then there was the contents of the magazine, the most popular choices were having interviews and the top 40 UK inside. What attracted people most was the interviews column in a music magazine. So I will be sure to include this into mine. Finally it seems for the most part people like more photographs, but there are the few that enjoy a good read. So I will have lots of nice photographs, but with the contrast of writing as well.

Conclusion.

After producing the questionnaire and going around obtaining the results, I formed this PowerPoint so I could analysis the results and gain a greater understanding of the publics views on a music magazine.

I used tables to present the data and pie charts to show the winning choices from the questionnaire, this was the visual analysis. Then I followed it with writing for my written analysis.

I have learnt a lot and will be using my results to incorporate it into my final project. By doing this is will make my magazine more realistic and user friendly.
