Question 7: Looking back at your preliminary task, (college magazine) what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

I feel that I have progressed a lot with my work since I created the Eccles college magazine. I was new to Photoshop when I made that product and I feel that I am now more able to input my own ideas and make them work.

I feel that my photography for my music magazine is much more successful than the ones that I took for the college magazine has I have been able to experiment with different subjects. The lighting of my photography is also much better and I have connected to the rule of thirds and design principles much better for this project.

My design and layout is also much better as I have taken the Guttenberg design principle into account when designing my

music magazine. I feel that this magazine is set out a lot better and neater, I have thought more carefully about the design along with the colours, fonts and photographs that I have used. I have become much more familiar with Photoshop and I am now able to manipulate my ideas into my product better as I have picked up on the basic techniques.
