The Blog is where we recorded all of our

research so that it could be viewed by our group.

Our primary research included analyses’ of film openings, conventions of

horror, ideological discourse and the four

technical areas that lead to our concept development.

We were given feedback on our blog by our teachers. This

allowed us to develop our posts and make vital improvements.

How did you use your blog to work

collaboratively?

Blogger was one of the devices we used to work collaboratively as a group. We used the commenting feature to discuss what we liked about each others research. We would often advice each other to watch films for further research that related to

the content in their post.

We integrated clips of the films by embedding them in our posts. We did this

so that our group could have a visual understanding of the points that we were

trying to put across. other multimedia forms we used to aid the points made in

our posts included embedding images and Prezi presentations.

We have a group YouTube account that we use to upload videos that we

had created in preparation for our opening as well as evidence for our

evaluation.

We used Survey Monkey to create a questionnaire that we showed to our target

audience through promoting it on social medias such as Facebook and Twitter. This allowed us to identify with the audience that would most likely watch our product

and we could develop our concept based on their likes, dislikes and suggestions for

improvement.
