MEDIA PRODUCT AND WHY?

BAUER MEDIA

Bauer Media is part of the Bauer Media Group which is Europe’s largest privately owned publishing group. They offer over 300 magazines in 15 different countries as well as online, TV and radio stations. Bauer media bought Kerrang in 2008 and are still current owners to the magazine. Bauer tend to focus on rock magazines like Kerrang and Q which is not the same to my genre for my music magazine therefore Bauer would not be suitable to publish my magazine.

DEVELOPMENT HELL LTD

Development Hell distributes the Mixmag magazine which is very similar to my genre of music magazine which is R&B. Mixmag was re-launched in 2006 by Development Hell LTD. It was set up by former E map executives David Hepworth, Jerry Perkins, Mark Ellen and Andrew Harrison. This is the most likely distributor for my magazine as it distributes similar magazines to mine. Mixmag was also where I found ideas for my music magazine.
