Side note before we start…I did say in my evaluation question plan that I was going to present this question as a Prezi, however the website was asking for credit card details and I didn’t want to give those out. So therefor I am presenting this question as a Power Point, sorry!

What is a social group?A social group is a collection of people who talk to each other and have similar characteristics and a sense of unity. A social category is a collection of people who do not interact but who share similar characteristics.

Gang MembersTwo out of the three, characters in our film represent this social group, the guy being chased and the guy chasing after him (the assassin). These can represented by the clothes that they are wearing. They are wearing, black coats which create a gang like feel to them. The guy hunting (the assassin), has a crooked back when he walks, which shows a gang like posture, which again creates the gang like feel towards him because he is quite shady.

Business MenOne out of the three characters, in our film represents this group, the boss, represents by the clothes that he wears. He wears a white shirt, a tie, black trousers and shoes, this creates the business man feeling. The character also represents this social group by the facial expressions, that he shows the audience, are quite serious (even when he has a gun pointing at his head). Again this shows the social group because business men tend to be quite serious when working.

ConclusionWell that’s it for me on question 2, these are the only two social groups that we could represent in our thriller film because we didn’t have the man power to represent other groups. So yeah thanks for viewing this power point and yeah enjoy the rest of my questions!
