Intima has been setting new standards of performance with each
passing year. Intima recorded an unprecedented sale of
` 28 Crs. in August 2010, overshooting its budget by 3.6 Crs. and
maintained the tempo in September 2010 with a sale of
` 27.8 Crs. This conquest for success was lead by the ace brands -
Lariago, Lumerax-80, Rapither AB, Larinate Injection.
The relentless efforts of all Intimians have made Ipca Labs the No.1
company in Newer Antimalarials, overtaking Zydus with a
stupendous growth on both, MAT as well as monthly basis (for
consistently 6 months in a row) as per ORG July 2010.
This feat was not achieved overnight. There were many industrious
pairs of hand which consistently worked on the foundation month
after month and thus made it possible for Ipca Labs to surge ahead
of the competition. Intima excellence award function was a night to
felicitate these stars who illuminated the path of success with their
radiance.

Article on press conference in Dainik Jagran, Delhi
Urology is a growing super speciality, however the
general awareness on urological diseases is very low as
compared to a cardiovascular disease or diabetes.
Creating awareness on urological problems is one of the
objectives taken up by Ipca
Urosciences.
In the month of September, we
celebrated urology week by
conduct ing unique general
awareness program.
Two mediums to reach the masses
were identified and used.
First, was radio, FM interviews
conducted for 34 top Urologists all
over India (Radio one 94.3 FM). The
modus consisted of a prerecorded
Question - Answer which was aired on
radio at scheduled time slots with topics
covering Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia,
Overactive Bladder, Calculi Renal
Transplant, Male Infertility and Cancer
Prostate.
Second, was a press conference
wherein a panel of Urologists
addressed a group of news reporters on
the same topics. Nine press
conferences were conducted.
Both the activities were done keeping
the doctor on the forefront which was
very well appreciated by the doctors.
These activities have brought us
close to the Key Opinion Leaders of Urology.

Recently Mumbai experienced big epidemic of Malaria. Ipca
Labs played a very vital role in making medications available
for thousands of a malarial patients in Mumbai and also
arranged lot of activities for educating various doctors like
physicians, paediatrician, family physicians regarding current
management of malaria. The name malaria comes from the
Italian mal (bad) and aria (air) – it was originally thought the
disease was spread by the damp air from swamps.

the research work entitled “ß-Cyclodextrin Inclusion
Complexed Controlled Release Tablet of Glipizide” in oral
drug delivery section. Controlled Release Society (CRS)
brings top scientists and their exclusive work from all
disciplines of chemistry, chemical engineering,
pharmaceutics, materials science, biological sciences
and medicine. The focus of the conference was
improving solubility of class IV and class IV drugs in Oral
drug delivery section, Nano Technology, Nasal &
Pulmonary delivery, Vaccines & DNA delivery, Tablet
