Prototypes- A sense of security from the verybeginning
We build prototypes and pre-series toolsfor the manufacture of lasered or stampedprototypes through to small seriesproduction.
Try-out tool conceptsWe test the tools we produce on our ownpress machines.That means the time required to set upthe tools at the customers is kept to aminimum.
Trial and small series -Quality in seriesWe develop concepts for the short-termdelivery of prototypes or pre-seriescomponents in accordance with yourrequirements. Our aim is to achieveprototype tools that are close to the seriesversions.That means we are also able to coveryour pre-series requirements on request.
- From the idea to the product
Tool layout: In the beginning, there isthe customer’s idea in the form of adrawing or design data.This is where a joint development processbegins, in which we offer advice basedon our many years of experience:
examining the size of the press, stripwidth and feed as well as the use ofmaterials.
Tool design: The next step is to designa tool with the aim of producing anoptimum high-quality solution to meet ourcustomers’ needs.Then we build the tool and begin with thetry-out phase on our own press machines.First article specimens are produced anda first article report drawn up.
Constructive alterations: Alterationsand optimisation work are carried out onthe construction to ensure that it isdefinitely up-to-date with requirements.Once accepted, the components aredelivered – at the time and date agreed.

In the competitive market of tool and prototype manufacturing as well as thatof machining technology, H. Junkerkalefeld GmbH has successfully positioneditself as a customer-oriented provider of solutions for the car manufacturing,commercial vehicle and household appliance industries as well as to theirsuppliers and other branches of industry.
H. Junkerkalefeld GmbH was born outof ‘Junkerkalefeld Werkzeug– undVorrichtungsbau’, which was founded bythe present-day managing director HelmutJunkerkalefeld on 1st June 1987.
The company has been a GmbH (Ltd.)since 1992. In a continuous, healthy andplanned process of growth, ourexperienced and dynamic team nowboasts 18 well-trained skilled membersof staff and five apprentices.
With this team, we produce high-qualityprecision tools, jigs and fixtures as wellas gauges. The tool-manufacturingdepartment manufactures all types oftools for sheet metal working; examples
include cutting, stamping and bendingtools as well as progressive-die andprogression press tools. Machiningtechnology is demonstrating a clearupward trend in our contract productionwork and plays a significant role in ourcompany’s business. We also producefirst article and pre-series componentson our own press machines at our factory.In addition, we offer CNC milling,measurement and wire erosion servicesto round off our palette of products.
We have a wide variety of high-qualitymachinery available to manufactureour entire spectrum of products.In the following we present an overviewand description of our machinery.
