STAKES & BATTENING When installing artificial grass, a solid framework is needed to retain the groundworks and to secure the artificial grass layer. This frame is constructed using stakes to create a solid foundation and lengths of straight battens to act as a hidden retaining edge. Traditionally artificial grass companies have used tanalised timber for this purpose, with the tanalisation offering protection against rot. However, during the milling process and when the installer cuts the batten to size, the wood is left open to the elements and begins to rot reducing the longevity of the installation to as little as 12 months.

At AGP we are constantly researching and developing artificial grass products and in 2016 we released our recycled batten and stake range. These products, using completely recycled waste plastic, have a 100 year+ life expectancy and offer a secure framework for you sub base and artificial grass.

GREY MATTER INSTANT DRAIN WEED MEMBRANE A weed membrane is an essential component in the construction of a quality artificial grass installation, preventing weeds and worms destroying your installa-tion. Our grey matter membrane is the highest quality available - It’s non-woven pressure formed material is easy to cut while offering maximum weed suppres-sion. An added feature of our grey matter membrane is its instant drain technology which takes water away from the artificial grass layer instantaneously rather than pooling beneath the surface, allowing the artificial grass to dry quicker after rainfall and prevent the build-up of stagnant water or pet urine.

JOINTING TAPE Jointing tape is integral to having seamless and strong joins between artificial grass cuts. Developed with pressure treated non-woven technology AGP jointing tape offers increased abrasion and a high surface area offering maximum bond between tape, glue and grass.

JOINTING ADHESIVE AGP’s specially formulated artificial grass adhesiveoffers a solid but flexible joint with a high strength fix that stands up to even the most vigorous of dogs or children’s sports. Specially formulated with specialist installers of artificial grass, our glue will stick artificial grass securely to jointing tape, decking, slabs, con-crete, tarmac, and even walls. It sets quickly and can even be used in wet conditions.

Our scientifically designed, permeable, pet friendly cushion pad not only provides improved drainage and added protection but delivers that little extra luxury and comfort that truly differentiates and AGP installed grass from any other artificil grass on the UK market.

We offer our customers an annual makeover and care programme to keep your artificial grass surface in pristine condition.

@ Whilst Artificial grass is a low maintenance option, it is not zero maintenance and with regular heavy traffic throughout term time the surface will need an annual sanitise and brush to keep the pile perfectly upright.

Our service team will clean off any debris, leaves, moss and dirt on the surface before giving the turf a vigorous petrol brush that revitalises the pile. We will then apply our AGP Cleanser and Herbicide where necessary to prevent any moss or weeds growing on the turf itself.

Finally we apply our non toxic AGP Sanitiser specially formulated to break down any odours or bacteria that will leave the surface refreshed and smelling like a freshly cut lawn
