Everyeffortismadetopromotecontinuityofeducatorsattheservice.Thereisapooloflocalreliefstaff,ECWsandteachersthatsupportthestaffatLELCwhichfosterscontinuityandthesenseofbelongingforthechildrenandtheirfamilies.TheDirectorleadsthedevelopmentofthecurriculumandensurestheestablishmentofcleargoalsandexpectationsforteachingandlearninginconsultationwiththeECW,children,familiesandGoverningCouncil.Adultsworkingwithchildrenandthoseengagedinmanagementoftheserviceorresidingonthepremisesarefitandproper,withtheappropriateclearancesandtrainingsuitablyrecorded.AstatementofphilosophyhasbeendevelopedbytheGoverningCouncil(allourfamiliesarerepresented)andstaff.Itguidesallaspectsoftheservice’soperationsandisreviewedbytheGoverningcouncil,childrenandstaffannually.
