• Using QNX for more than 20 years

• QNX system being shipped and updated constantly – Building automation systems rely

on the security, reliability, and high availability of the QNX Neutrino microkernel

architecture

Success Story: Harman

• Using QNX since 2002

• Designs and builds infotainment and navigation systems for some of the most

prestigious automotive brands - Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Peugeot, Porsche, Toyota, etc.

• Harman’s scope is truly international, encompassing both North America and Europe,

and its footprint continues to expand. It has already developed systems for Korean

Success Story: Neptec

• Using QNX since 1991, first products deployed in early 1990s

• Mission-critical space vision systems, including these QNX-based products:

� LCS camera for inspecting exterior of space shuttle to ensure it is safe and intact;

� Space Vision System (SVS) which helped astronauts to assemble the International

Space Station and to guide the Canadarm in previous shuttle missions.

• QNX products Neptec is using: QNX Neutrino Realtime Operating Systems (RTOS), QNX

Momentics Tool Suite, QNX board support packages (BSPs), QNX technical support and

engineering services.

• Most important QNX features to Neptec: Reliable microkernel architecture and proven

ability to handle the extreme conditions found in space, where there is no room for
