My life with Qigong

• Experiences in Meditation and Energy fields in the ’80s• I met Qigong in 1988• University studies in Sinology and Oriental languages• Specializations in Oriental techniques for Health• From 1990 I lived between Italy and China for study• 1993-1994 in China, following Master Yang Yizhong• End of 1994 Begin teaching Qigong• 1995-2010 Cooperation with schools of TCM in Rome, study and

practice with other Masters: Jeffrey Yuan, Li Xiaoming, Ma Xuzhou, …• Since 2008 I’m the Italian Representative at the Qigong and TCM World

Congress (USA)• 2010 I created NeiDao – The Inner Way: an Association for the study

and research of Qigong• International Cooperation with other countries Organizations

Qigong arrived in Italy many years ago, through two completely different and separate ways:

Traditional Chinese MedicineMartial Arts

Today there are hundreds of TCM schools and Martial Art schools, where Qigong is barely taught

and it’s rarely deeply known and practiced. It’s very difficult to find someone that is specialized in

Medical Qigong study and research.

Doing a deep research on the uses of Medical Qigong in the Italian Public Health Organization, from the ‘90s until today, I found many experiences, relating to the support of patients and health professionals,

but all of them brief and minor.

From my experience, I think Qigong can be a really precious instrument, for an integrated connection

between the job of a doctor or therapist, and a conscious active participation of a patient to their

own health rehabilitation.5

“NeiDao – The Inner Way”is the first Italian Association entirely

dedicated to the study and research of Qigong

As founder and president of the NeiDao Association, after many years of experience with Qigong and Meditation,

my intention was to create an Organization that could be a bridge between all the separate Qigong fields of

experience in Italy:Martial Arts, Medicine, Meditation and Spirituality.

» Training Courses for personal and professional growth in Qigong. We propose Taoist techniques, Buddhist techniques, Medical and Meditative Qigong - theory and practice to help people with many different problems and pathologies.

» 4 International Symposiums on Qigong (From 2010 to 2017): last one more than 300people together sharing Qigong science, philosophy, practice and applicated projects forsociety.

» Since 2011 we’ve been an active participant at the Susan Komen Italy "Race for the Cure" event in Rome, presenting Qigong practice for oncology patients.

» Project “CARE” (Cocaine Addiction Rehabilitation Enforcement): Since 2012 we organize and manage Qigong laboratories.

» Since 2013 we organize laboratories of “Qigong at school”, aimed at teachers and students.

» Experiment with ultrasound scan on the effects of Liuzijue Qigong “Qigongof the 6 secret sounds” (2014) on the inner organs.

» Policlinico Gemelli Hospital: Integrated Centre for Breast Cancer (since2014): Qigong is one of the prescribed therapies: Qigong practice and waiqiliaofa in the hospital for cancer patients, to avoid and cure side effects ofchemotherapy, radiotherapy and other pharmacological therapies, and torecover quicker from surgery

» “Qigong in the jail” (2015) aimed at helping jail workers to manage stress.

» 1st University Master in “Integrated therapies for Female oncologicalpathologies” (2016) aimed at all medical and health University graduates. Forthe 1st time in Italy, Qigong for medical purposes is one of the subjects in auniversity course!
