Since its registration FAIMA GENERAL SUPPLY COMPANY LIMITED has gained a lot of strength and experience in its core functions. FAIMA GENERAL SUPPLY COMPANY LIMITED is one of leading integrated company dealing with Explora-tion and Drilling of Oil and Gas industry; Tours Safari’s Recruitment Staffs skilled and unskilled personnel. Research has confirmed that most accidents are attributable to human failure (unsafe acts).

Even when a process is automated, people are still needed to design, control, and maintain the system. The term human factors are used to cover a range of issues. They include the perceptual, mental and physical capabilities of people and the interactions of individuals with their job and working environment.

However, these will be sourced from other parts of the country thus benefiting the nation as a whole. There will also be transfer of knowledge from expatriates to local experts.

POSITIVE SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACTEmployment Creation

During seismic survey process and associated facilities i.e camp the project will employ workforce foreign to the area and attract people seeking other opportu-nities such as bar maids, drivers.petty traders and others.

The interactions of these people of different backgrounds is recognized as one of the factors that can lead to an increase of spread of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted disease (STDs).The project proponent will prepare health management plant that addressing prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and STDs.

Local community: Safety for both the public and employees is of major concern. With respect to minimizing injuries and security issues, the utmost of care must be taken when planning the site-specific training program for all staff, highlighting the risks associated with working so close to town.Security issues for base and fly camps need to be investigated. Children will be all around the area and it is anticipated that there will be a high interest in the vibrators when they pass through residential areas, so additional supervision and precautions are required to operate in populated areas.
