1. MOPvide letter under Ref 1(copy enclosed) has intimated allocation ofpower for allocation of unallocated power of coal-based NTPC stationsfor bundling with solar power in ratio of (1: 2) (Unallocated power:Solar Power) as envisaged under National Solar Mission Phase-IIBatch-II Tranche-I.

,..2. MoP vide letter letter under Ref 2 , have allocated 200MW, 300 MW

and 200 MW to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and' Telanganarespectively from the unallocated power of coal based NTPC stationsof Eastern and Western Region for bundling with solar power.

3. As per MoP's letter under Ref 1, MoP have allocated 450 MW NTPCthermal unallocated power to Telangana (150 MW) and Karnataka(300 MW) with equivalent reduction from Maharashtra and MadhyaPradesh in proportion to their present allocation for bundling with 900MW of Solar Power.

4. NTPC vide letter under Ref 3 (copy enclosed) have requested forallocation of 175 MW power to be done to Karnataka from theunallocated quota of NTPC Stations in WR to be bundled with solarpower from M/s Param Pujya Solar Energy (100 MW) and M/s YarrowInfra Structure limited (50MW) M/s TATA Power Renewable Energyprivate Ltd (150 MW) and M/s ReNew Wind Energy(TN2) Pvt Itd(50MW). NTPC has intimated that the Commissioning Certificates from

the above solar power developers have been received Ccopyenclosed).

5. NTPC vide letter under Ref 3 has further informed that thermal powerfor bundling is required to be allocated 30 days from thecommissioning date of capacity. In view of the same 25MW is beingallocated at present.

6. WRPC vide letter no. wrpcjcomml-Ij6jAllocj2018j586 dated17.01.2018 has allocated 200MW respectively to Karnataka from Coalbased stations of NTPC in WR w.e.f 00:00 hrs 19.01.2018.

7. With respect to NTPC letter under Ref 3, in addition to allocationissued at no 6, another allocation of 25 MW is to be allocated toKarnataka from coal based stations of NTPC in WR.

8. Combining allocation at serial no 6 and 7 the total power allocated toKarnataka is 225 MW and this revised allocation of shares and thepercentage allocation of WR are enclosed herewith.

9. The above allocation at serial no.8 would be effective from 00: 00 Hrs.of 28.01.2018.

10.The beneficiaries are required to maintain LC commensurate with theallocated power and adhere to conditions mentioned in MoP ordersunder Ref 1 and Ref 2.

Sir, This is in reference to MNRE’s scheme of setting up of 15000 MW of Grid-connected Solar PV Power plants through NTPC Ltd. under National Solar Mission from 2014-15 to 2018-19 sanctioned by President of India. ln Tranche-I of Batch-ll, phase-ll of the said "State Specific Bundling Scheme", 3000 MW capacity of solar PV power plants will be set up based on bundling of solar power (3000 MW) with unallocated thermal power (1500 MW) in ratio of 2:1 (in MW terms), for which the required 1500 MW unallocated power to be made available by Ministry of Power (Mop) as per the scheme. Based on NTPC request for the allocation of thermal power for bundling with solar power, MoP-GoI vide its order dated 5th July 2017, has allocated the unallocated power from NTPC thermal power stations. By the said order, 425 MW power has been allocated to Andhra Pradesh. Further, Para 4(iii) of MoP order dated 5th July 2017 (Copy attached as Annexure I), 700 MW has been allocated from the unallocated power of coal based NTPC Station of Eastern and Western Region to the Southern region subject to availability and booking of the transmission corridor of ER-WR-SR. Now MoP vide their order dated 22nd December 2017 (Copy attached as Annexure II), has decided to allocate the remaining 450 MW thermal power to Telangana (150 MW) & Karnataka (300 MW) from the unallocated quota of NTPC Stations in Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra to bundle with 900 MW solar power. SRPC vide their allocation orders dated 30th November 2017 & 27th December 2017 (Copies attached as Annexure III), has already allocated 125 MW thermal power to Telangana from unallocated quota of NTPC Stations in ER to be bundled with solar power projects in Non solar park Telangana.

We have received the Commissioning Certificates (Copies attached as Annexure IV) from the solar project developers namely M/s. Yarrow Infrastructure Ltd. for 50 MW project in Block No. 35; M/s. Param Pujya Solar Energy Private Ltd. for 2*50 MW projects in Block No. 28 & 36; M/s. TATA Power Renewable Energy Private Ltd. for 3*50 MW project in Block No. 27, 32 & 34; M/s. ReNew Wind Energy (TN2) Private Ltd. for 50 MW projects in Block No. 33 of Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka. As per PPA signed with the SPDs, CoD of the project is defined as under: Quote

date of the capacity where upon the SPD starts injecting power

from the part commissioned capacity to the Interconnection
