Approved Non destructive examination certified (NDE) Level II, welding inspector may perform Penetrate Test (PT), Magnetic particle test (MT), Ultrasonic Test (UT) and Radiography test inspection when required.(c). Retain a copy of approved Welding Procedures, a list of Qualified Welders and a list of Welder Identification Numbers.(d). Verify that each weld is numbered properly and marked as per the weld Numbering system.(l). Check welding machine periodically to ensure amperage and voltage are within tolerances specified in the welding procedure specification, this will also include random checking welding parameters used and recording same to ensure compliance to the applicable Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) / Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR). Random checks shall be perform on a daily basis and According to the respective ITP.(m). Monitor storage of welding supplies, and reject welding supplies Improperly stored and damaged.(n). Verify that inside of joints of pipe is clean prior to welding.(o). Carrying out receiving inspection, welding inspections, dimensions control, final inspection, pressure test inspection, NDT etc. as required In the specific ITP.(p).
