In our editing stages I was the one who used Final Cut Pro to edit all of our shots and put them together in to the sequence. Before producing a final version we created two rough drafts using final cut pro to get feedback and see what shots would have needed to be re-shot. I had some experience working with similar software before so it was natural that I was the editor however while exploring the software I learned more about the different transitions and filters available.

GarageBand was the other main software used in the creation of our product. The other members of my group would be creating and editing the soundtrack for the sequence as I produced some of the finished scenes. We would periodical save what I had done so far and export the scenes so that they would then import the footage into Garageband and sync the music with what was happening in the scene.

Motion was the only other main software used in the product. I used Motion to create the titles and the animated movements they used to appear and disappear from the shots. I had experimented with the different fonts available, the size of the text, movements and colour for a few weeks before and during editing to create the best and most suited titles for out sequence.

We borrowed the cameras from the college to film all of our footage for the media product. We used these cameras because they have the best quality that we have available to us without a budget to film on. I did some of the filming around my room, using still shots to show the viewer different elements of the room. I found the swivel screen on the side of the camera very useful for these shots while I did some high angle and low angel shots, and using the camera I was able to see what was in frame without straining my neck and body to see.

We used the tripod for almost all over our shots, because it was the easiest way to get a steady shot. We had experimented with different ways to film the scenes and found that they looked more professional and easier to edit if the shots were taken using the tripod. Although their were some troubles in moving or adjusting the camera between shots the results are still much better then they would have been using the fig rig for the most of the shots.
