A group of students carried out an experiment to study the rate of anaerobic respiration in different volume of yeast suspension. 5 cm 3 yeast suspension is mixed with 5 cm 3 boiled glucose solution in a boiling tube. Paraffin oil is added on top of the mixture. Diagram 1 shows the set-up of apparatus and the initial temperature of the experiment. The initial temperature is the same in volume of yeast suspensions that are 5cm 3 , 10 cm 3 and 15 cm 3 . Sekumpulan pelajar telah menjalankan ekseperimen untuk mengkaji kesan kadar respirasi anaerobik dalam isipadu ampaian yis yang berlainan . Di dalam satu tabung didih, 5 cm 3 ampaian yis dicampurkan dengan 5 cm 3 larutan glukosa yang telah dididihkan. Minyak parafin ditambahkan di permukaan atas campuran tersebut. Rajah 1 menunjukkan susunan radas dan suhu awal eksperimen ini. Suhu awal eksperimen adalah sama untuk isipadu ampaian yis 5cm 3 , 10 cm 3 dan 15 cm 3 . 2.Transpiration process is the loss of water vapour from the leaves to the atmosphere through stomata. This loss of water is replaced by the absorption of water from the soil by the plant roots. The rate of transpiration is affected by temperature, light intensity, air movement and relative humidity.

Proses transpirasi adalah kehilangan wap air dari daun ke atmosfera melalui stomata. Kehilangan air ini diganti oleh proses penyerapan air dari tanah oleh akar tumbuhan.

Kadar transpirasi adalah dipengaruhi oleh suhu, keamatan cahaya, pergerakan udara and kelembapan bandingan.

Based on the above information and Diagram 1, plan a laboratory experiment to study the effect of relative humidity on the rate of transpiration.

Diagram 1 shows the materials and apparatus used in this experiment.
