• The Lord was resurrected on the first day (Mk. 16:9; Lk. 24:1) and assembled (Jn. 20:1,9)

• The Lord’s church was established on the first day (Acts 2:1,42; Lev. 23:15-21)

• The Lord’s supper was eaten on the first day (Acts 2:42; 20:7) and a collection made (1 Cor. 16:1-2)

• Focus on the Lord on the first day (1 Cor. 11:26; Rev. 1:10)
