• Committee worked with the GA Professional Standards Commission to develop criteria for JROTC Certification (JROTC Permit)
• Conducted JROTC Instructor Drive In meetings throughout the state
• Provided professional development activities at GACTE
• Included the national leadership for all branchesin the conference

• Adopted JROTC By-laws on Jan 31, 2008• Petitioned for affiliation with GACTE as
GAJROTC in February, 2008• Petition approved in July 2008• JROTC included in vocational lab funding
formula for SY 07-08• Served as a catalyst for the Florida JROTC
affiliation with ACTE in Jan 2009

• Provided staffing recommendations for the JROTC Georgia Performance Standards
curriculum development committees
