All materials to be delivered at site. If the material used for the work is not in conformity with the specifications, the

same shall be replaced by contractor. All the material required for the above work shall be arranged by the contractor at

his own cost.

Selection of material to be done in consultation with the BANK representative / Engineer.

All materials shall be of the first quality.

Wherever Contractor proposes to use „equivalent‟ makes (i.e. other than specified) the same shall be done only after

prior approval from BANK. BANK may consult Architect before giving approval. Any additional expenditure, time due

to this will be on Contractor‟s account and no claims will be entertained.

Read “or equivalent approved” at the end of the list of approved manufacture / sub-contractor / brand for every

materials.

1. All dimensions are in M.K.S. unless otherwise stated.

2. The quoted rate shall be all inclusive and cover the cost of material including wastage, Freight, all types of taxes,

duties, royalties, erection, construction, testing of materials, if required samples brought for approval, tools and

tackles, plant and equipment‟s, supervision, overheads, profit and any other expenditure incurred for completion

of work as per drawings, specifications and to the full satisfaction of BANK / Architect.

3. The rates quoted shall be valid for working at all heights, depths, and on all floor levels, No extra payment shall be

made for scaffolding, staging, ladders etc. for transportation of men and materials at higher or lower levels.

4. The item rate specifications are indicative. The Contractor will have to carry out the work in accordance with the

drawings, technical specifications and / or other conditions laid down in tender document and to the full satisfaction of

BANK / Architect.

5. Quantities mentioned against respective items are approximate and can vary to any extent. Payment shall be made on

actually executed quantities.

6. No claims shall be entertained in case of increase or decrease in quantities, BANK / Architect reserve the right to

increase / decrease quantities of any item and also to add / Delete any item in totality. BANK / Architect reserve right of

operating any item for any work.

7. Rates of all items shall remain constant irrespective of floor level and no extra shall be Paid for handling and

stacking of materials, removing debris etc. from the site.

8. Unless otherwise noted, the method of measurement will be as per I.S. 1200.

9. Wherever contractor proposes to use „equivalent‟ makes (i.e. other than specified) he shall obtain BANK‟s prior

approval. BANK may ask Architect before giving approval to the same. Any additional cost and time lost due to this

will be on Contractor‟s account and no claims will be entertained.

10. The rate for partition, paneling shall include necessary additional framework supports that may be required to suit site

conditions or stability of the item. Decision of Architect in regards to the need for such additional supports shall be final.

11. All wooden frame work / member size mentioned as out of, shall be full size with maximum planing tolerance of 3 mm

both ways.

12. Rates for doors include all brass oxidized heavy duty hardware, locks, floor springs, door Springs, door closer, special

door handles etc. as specified in relative items.

13. Size and type of door closer / floor spring shall be suitable for type of door. The Contractor shall give guarantee for

performance of door closer / floor spring from manufacturer.

14. Rates for partitions, paneling shall include making of necessary cut outs, chasing to be Made for conduits, switch boards

etc.

15. Rates for painting and polishing shall include cleaning glass panels, fans, floor etc.

16. After completion of work the site shall be handed over absolutely clean, after ensuring that all laminates, floors, walls,

etc. are spotless clean.

17. Contractor shall clean the site and mark the lining out on the floor with adhesive tape for approval. The same shall not

be paid separately.

18. In case of loose furniture, the specification for side unit or rear side credenza unit in any Item shall be same as the

specification of the table in that item.

19. All key holes should be fixed with metallic key hole ring.

20. Key for all locks should be different and no key should match with two different locks.

Item to include 6 mm thick glass with etching and frosting as per design to be fixed with 1-1/4" x 3/4" T.W. moulding / laminated beading finished with paint /polish as directed and 2” X 2” T.W. member for door sides and glass side and T.W. door frame to take 6mm thick glass with etching and frosting. All exposed T.W. surfaces to be finished in polish of matching laminate colour as directed including all necessary Stainless Steel finish fittings / hardware, door closers, Godrej locks and wood preservative paint etc. as per list of approved material and as approved by the Project consultant / bank complete in all respects. The door will be provided with T.W. louvers finished in polish of matching laminate colour. The doors are also to be provided with Godrej Night Latch. Two wooden trays are also to be provided as per drawing. Necessary cutouts are

to be provided in the glass and the edges of the glass cutouts are to be finished in mirror polish. 60 Sq.ft.

SOLID FULL HEIGHT PARTITION 3 Providing and fixing in position solid Full height partition in frame work

including door in 2‟ X 2‟ grid (horizontally and vertically) comprising of 2” X 1 1/2” T.W. section with 6mm thick plywood on both sides finished with 1mm thick laminates of approved make and colour. Item to include 2” X 2” T.W. member for door frame. All exposed T.W. surfaces to be finished in polish of matching laminate colour as directed including all necessary Stainless steel finish fittings/ hardware, door closers, Godrej locks and wood preservative paint etc. as per list of approved material and as approved by the Project Consultant / Bank complete in all respects. PARTLY GLAZED LOW HEIGHT PARTITION. 4 Providing and fixing in position partly glazed low height partition (2 ½”

thick) in frame work with T.W. Vertical members at 2‟ c/c and 3 horizontal members at equal distance comprising of 2” X 1 ½” T.W. Section with 6mm plywood on both sides finished with 1mm thick laminates of approved make and shade including 12mm thick glass (clear/ frosted) to be fixed as shown in drawing. The exposed edges of the glass to be finished in mirror polish. T.W. runner should be polished in matching colour of laminate etc. complete in all respects. 125 Sq.ft.

12 MM THK GLASS RAILING ABOVE COUNTER 5 Providing and fixing 12 mm thick toughened glass with etching &

edge polish to be fixed with 1¼" x ¾" T.W. moulding / laminated beading finished with paint/ polish as directed above counter fixed to wall/partition including 2½"wide round slits opening in the glass as per detail drawing. 30 Sq.ft.

FRONT OFFICE COUNTER 6 Providing and fixing in position Front Office Counter 2‟-6” wide at 2'6'

ht; customer top 12" wide at 3'0" ht. as per drawing comprising of the following complete in all respects:- 11 R.ft.

i) Working top & customer top made with 19mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with 1mm thick groove at the joint of laminates of two different shades.

ii) Vertical facia (Apron) made with 18mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with 1mm thick groove at the joint of laminates of two different shades.

iii) Vertical drop (horizontal band) shall be provided on the facia below the working top made with 18mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with provision for concealed light 1mm thick groove shall be provided at the joint of two different shades of laminate.

iv) Vertical supports made with 18mm thick plywood finished with white enamel paint.

v) Telescopic CPU stand / ready made Keyboard tray shall be provided of approved model and make

The item to include all necessary hardware and fittings in Stainless steel finish, lipping to all edges and making provision only for electrical fitting behind the front. Vertical drop as shown in the drawing. Necessary beadings with polish for fixing the glass are to be provided.

CASH COUNTER 7 Providing and fixing in position Cash Counter 2‟-6” wide at 2'6' ht;

customer top 15" wide at 3'8" ht. as per drawing comprising of the following complete in all respects:- 5 R.ft.

i) Working top & customer top made with 19mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with 1mm thick groove at the joint of laminates of two different shades.

ii) Vertical facia (Apron) made with 18mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with 1mm thick groove at the joint of laminates of two different shades.

iii) Vertical drop (horizontal band) shall be provided on the facia below the working top made with 18mm thick plywood finished with 1mm thick laminate with provision for concealed light, 1mm thick groove shall be provided at the joint of two different shades of laminates.

iv) Glazed partition of 1‟-4” height above working top provided with 12 mm thick toughened and frosted glass besides non- transparent film from inside fixed to partition as per fixing details and to boxing with concealed S.S. finished „D‟ brackets as shown in the drawing. The exposed edges of the glass shall be finished in mirror polish.

v) Transaction top shall be provided with 12mm thick toughened glass (partly glazed partly frosted) fixed horizontally with concealed Stainless Steel D brackets. Both exposed edges (inside and outside) shall be moulded and finished in mirror polish.

vi) Telescopic CPU stand / ready made Keyboard tray shall be provided of approved model and make

RUNNING TABLE 9 Providing working Table 2‟0” wide with 3/4" thick marine ply finished

with 1 mm thk. sued finish laminate of approved shade as per design including Telescopic CPU Stand / ready made keyboard tray of approved model and make, Footrest made with T.W. member of size 4” X 1 ½” finished with French polish and storage box at every 4'0" interval with 5" high drawer on channel and shutter below with locking arrangement. All exposed T.W. sections to be polished and internal surfaces to have white enamel paint as directed as per Architect's instructions. 14 R.ft.

All exposed plywood surfaces to be finished with 1 mm thick laminate of approved make and shade, and all exposed edges of table top and ply verticals to have 1” and ¼” T.W. lipping. All exposed T.W. sections to be polished and internal surfaces to have white enamel paint as directed. Item to include plywood boxing, all necessary hardware and fittings in Stainless Steel finish, lipping to all edges etc. complete in all respects.

OFFICER’S TABLE WITH SIDE TABLE 11 Providing and fixing in position Officer's Table of size 5‟-0” X 2‟-6” as

per drawing including side storage (Credenza) by using 25mm thick plywood for top and 18mm thick plywood for top and 18mm thick plywood for all other horizontal and vertical members. All exposed plywood surfaces to be finished with 1mm thick laminate of approved make and shade all exposed edges of plywood to have 1” X ¼” T.W. lipping. All exposed T.W. sections to be polished in matching colour laminate and internal surfaces to have white enamel paint as directed. Item to include all necessary hardware and fittings in Stainless Steel finish, Godrej multi purpose locks including magnetic ball catcher etc. complete in all respects.

ACRYLIC SANDWICH BOARD 14 Providing & making Acrylic Sandwich Board with Acrylic sheets and

S.S. fittings and fixtures to display posters as per design etc. complete. 2 Nos.

WRITING DESK 15 Providing & fixing writing desk made out of 19 mm thick commercial

ply finished with 1 mm thick laminate from all exposed sides as per detail drawing including 12 mm thick glass with polished edge fixed on writing top with box. Size 3'0"x 1'6 1 Nos.

DISPLAY BOARD 16 Supplying and fixing display board made out of 3/4" thk commercial

ENTRANCE DOOR 20 Providing and erecting main entrance door with T.W. frame 6” x 2”

with two shutter to be made out of 4” x 2” T.W. top, bottom, side rail as per design with 12 mm thk. glass including frosting / etching as per the design. The S.S. door handles to be fixed on both sides of the door as per the design. The door to have polish/paint and heavy duty floor springs of Everite or equivalent with tower bolts, locks etc. as per design. Remove loose rust from reinforcement bars by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping, hammering etc. provide & apply two coats of anticorrosive coating of perma (Zinc base) to the rusted exposed steel reinforcement bars on all sides. If the reinforcement steel is found to have corroded more than 20% of the actual size additional reinforcement along the old one to be attached by welding/tying with 18 gauge binding wire as per direction.(Cost of steel reinforcement to be paid under separate item) After 24 hours of applying anticorrosive coat, apply two rust passivating coat mixing the same with cement in the ratio of 1:1(by weight) to the derusted as well as new steel surface by brush at an interval of six hours. Moisten the surface and apply bonding coat in the ratio of 1:1 by weight to the entire broken concrete surfaces.
