Valves and Specialties for specifi c Pulp & Paper Applications

Knife Gate Valves

Applications include pulp stock, recycled fi ber, slurry and abrasive service. Corrosion resistant as well as abrasive resistant features ensure longer more reliable performance and life. These diffi cult applications require our knowledgeable associates to offer the best solution, not just a replacement product.

Ball and Butterfl y Valves

Positive shutoff can be achieved by utilizing soft or metal seated products. Internal trim materials can also enhance performance characteristics, results and total cost of ownership (TCO) savings.

Valve Automation & Instrumentation

Our valve automation and instrumentation business offers extensive capabilities, and a network of branches to service the pulp and paper industry throughout the country. We provide technical assistance for proper installation, drawings, and valve tagging for identifi cation and traceability.

Steam Specialties

Your steam system is supported through our extensive offering of steam traps, valves, regulators and steam strainers. As your supplier, we provide system audits to maximizethe effectiveness of your systems and minimize energy loss.

Steam System Audit: Includes steam trap application and testing, pressure regulator application and testing, boiler load calculations, steam system piping, steam accessories placement and testing, and detailed reporting based on our fi ndings.

Plant Energy Audit: Our associates survey your facility and develop a comprehensive report to create additional effi ciencies to reduce energy costs. In addition, we can provide a payback analysis on any equipment.

Steam Trap Surveys: Using state of the art equipment, we locate “missing” traps, identify misapplication and discover improper installations. Based on our results, we provide a detailed report and make recommendations to resolve the issues.

Heat stabilized and expansion-controlled, PP-R pipe resist rust, corrosion and chemicals making it ideal for harsh pulp and paper plant environments.

Pipe End Finishing Services

Our national network of 10 distribution centers, and three pipe yards provide a full complement of pipe end fi nishing services to include cutting, beveling, threading and grooving and painting. In addition, we provide appropriate documentation and customized reporting.

Custom Fabrication

As a provider of customized fabrications, we address the unique operational needs of every customer. Examples of diverse fabrications are:

HDPE & Polypropylene Fusion Services

We are a a total solutions provider for all high density polyethylene (HDPE) and Aquatherm Polypropylene random (PP-R) projects.
