• Obtain Tom’s approval of text

• Manually make it into HTML

• Send to MGA

• Test the final product – QA

• Repeat

• The Region 6 Newsletter is sent to 45,684 members

• How many people read it?• Redundant emails from IEEE on the same

subjects reduce effectiveness

• Is it worth doing this?

– my time is 13 – 20 hours per month– Is it effective reaching members or is

there a better way?

MGA agreed to make GHTC2015 papers immediate open access (free to the world)

Friendship developed with the R10 Director. We now advertise each other’s GHTC events free(previously was going to cost us $500)
