Title: Pop Tastic Frequency of publication: Monthly Positioning statement: Stay fantastic, read poptastic. Price:£2.50 Distribution: Newsagents, supermarkets. Rationale: My magazine will be focused around what pop artists/bands my target audience want to read about, I will ensure that when they read the magazine they are entertained by what they see and read. The articles and interviews will again be based around what my audience want to know about their most favourite pop artists and bands rather than including any irrelevant information just because it has some relevancy to pop music. Style: Colloquial and friendly style which isn’t too formal and an approach which allows the reader to feel comfortable when reading my pop magazine. I will use cheesy and chatty lines which appeal to the target audience. As the magazine is aimed at younger people I will use simple vocabulary and include words which they are most likely to be familiar and I will use shortened paragraphs and slang. Images will be the dominant feature of layouts. Regular content 4) Truth or Dare Celeb Style 6) Flawless Fashion 7) Celebs go bare faced for cancer awareness 8) Get the low down on celeb relationships or flirtationships 3) Sneaky Selfies- Trending celebrity selfies. 7) Tour teasers- Get the low down on the latest tours. 9) Personality Quiz- Which pop artist would make a great bffl?
