FIELD DAYSA huge thank you to everyone who was able to assist with the running of the stall at the Henty Field Days this week. It is a mammoth task to coordinate and run the stall each year. A special thanks to Nicole Beckett who has gone above and beyond to make sure it all ran smoothly.
RIVERINA ATHLETICSOur school relay team put in a fantastic effort to finish 4th in their heat at the Riverina Athletics carnival last week. A big thank you to Tash Beckett who filled in at the last minute while only being in Year 3!
WORKING BEEWe will hold a working bee here at school on Wednesday 5th October starting at 8.30am. In preparation for the 125 year celebrations, jobs will include weeding, spreading bark and straw on the gardens and straightening gasrden bed edging, among other things. We should have everything done with half a day. All welcome!!
125 YEAR ROSTERI will soon send out a roster for jobs at our 125 year celebrations. Jobs will include selling merchandise or running the BBQ. I will roster families on for around 1 hour. If your are unable to assist/attend on the day please let me know in advance.
SCHOOL LIBRARY WORKING BEEThank you to Annie Scholz, Nicole Beckett and Virginia Clancy for helping to rearrange and orgnise our school library last week. The librbary looks fantastic!
LIFE EDUCATION VISIT Our students all attended the Life Education Van on Monday and met Healthy Harold! We had some very excited Kindergarten children who were meeting him for the first time. The students also participated in AFL and Netball clinics on the day. It was wonderful to again have the excellent behaviour of our students commented on by visitors.
STUDENT BANKINGSchool banking will resume week 1 next term.
125 YEAR POLO SHIRT ORDERS AND RSVPA quick reminder to all families that the 125 Year Celebration Polo Shirt orders are now due. Please contact Julianne ASAP if you would like to order a shirt. Also, please RSVP numbers of family members attending on the day.
SCHOOL PHOTOSSchool photos have been organised for Monday 17th October. Full summer uniform is requested. We have not yet received photo envelopes from the photographer - we expect the will arrive ready to be sent out week 1 next term.
SPELLING BEEWell done to Nikita Maclean for her performance in the Premiers Spelling Bee last week. Nikita has been practising for months, and made it to the final five. A great effort, Nikita! Well done!
HAPPY HOLIDAYSHave a happy and safe holiday break! The students have had a busy term, and will need the rest as we move into a full calendar in term four.
School will resume for staff and students on Monday 10th October.
