Organ Donation
• Promote registration on Glenda Dawson Donate Life Texas Registry
• Multi-media education campaign
• 61% increase in total certified registrants

End Stage Renal Disease
• 80th Legislature allocated funding
• Decrease the number of new End Stage Renal Disease cases in Texas.
• Multi-media education and prevention campaign
• Outreach to individuals at risk for ESRD
• Launched Late Spring 2008

Tobacco
• Multi-media campaigns
• Aims to reduce tobacco use among youth and adults
• Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke

Immunizations
• Multi-media educational campaigns• Promotes importance of keeping children’s
vaccinations up to date • Focus on children receiving the 4th dose of
the DTaP vaccine (diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis)
• Also have focused on pertussis (whooping cough)

• Targets participants, vendors, WIC staff, and partners
• Prepare WIC participants to shop, prepare and use WIC foods
