Bioregulatory Ophthalmology Bioregulatory ophthalmologyis a simple, noninvasive, and safe

solution for vision improvement. ltoffers a process-oriented medicaltreatment, a personal journey througha multifaceted therapeutic processthat aims to rehydrate, remineralize, detoxify, reenergize, and restorefaulty structural relationshipsrelated to the eyeballs and vision.Treatment methodology incorporatesa variety of CAM methodologies, such as the Bates method for visualreeducation, cranial osteopathy,Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM),nutrition, homeopathy, phytotherapy, psychotherapy, color therapy, iridology, kinesiology, psychosomaticcorrelation, bioenergetics, andcreative visual ization.

The bioregulatory protocol forimproving eyesight aims to optimizethe biological terrain of the eyesand visual pathway. Once the eyes'optimal shape and function arerestored, vision naturally improves. The regulation of both visualaxes and the eccentric fixation is

achieved primarily by realignmentof the musculoconnective tissueof the eyeballs.s The protocol mayadditionally reinforce the functionof the retinal photoreceptors, releaseintracranial entrapment neuropathiesof the 3rd, 4th and 6th cranial neryes, strengthen eye-mind correlation, andimprove synchronization of the leftand right brain hemispheres. lt alsomay incorporate various nutritional, herbal, or homeopathic bioregulatoryremedies, such as Heel's Musculioculi suis-lnjeel, Guna-Trauma, orNew Vistas Eye Sarcode and Eye

Liquescence, to additionally facilitateand support structural and functionalintegrity of the visual apparatus.6

Bioregulatory eye treatment is

always personalized according to theuniqueness of one's bioindividuality.Although it is effective in preventionand treatment of somatic pathology ofthe eyes, such as glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, trauma-induced visual disturbance, or age-related presbyopia, bioregulatoryophthal mology is particu larly effectivein correction of refractive errors such

of view, it offers a nonconventionalmethodology for treatment of visualdisturbances. lt introduces a newconcept of extended etiology thatstretches the conventional allopathicetiopathogenesis of the eye diseasesfurther into the bioenergetic andpsychological realms.3

Bioregulatory ophthalmologyapproaches any pathology of the eyeas a single evolving process, where dis-ease is considered a verb, and not justa noun. lt explains the visual entropyas a process that evolves through timeand different clinical expressions, when it also evolves through differentconventional diagnosis.a No wonderit has been seen by conventionalophthalmologists only as a varietyof often unrelated diseases, such as

conjunctivitis, myopia, or maculardegeneration - which are then treatedin isolation, as if they are unrelatedpathological entities.

Bioregulatory ophthalmologyattempts to bioregulate this process ofprogressing "ocular lack of ease" in itstotal ity. Early presomatic dysregulationof the eye (e.9., bioenergetic, nutritional, or structural weaknesses)are detected and bioregulated toprevent or treat dysfunctional stageof a dis-ease process - typicallymanifested as a refractory anomalies.Since uncorrected refractory errorsfurther facilitate manifestation ofinflammatory and degenerativeconditions of the eye, restoration ofthe faulty structural constellation of theeyeball back to its normal sphericalshape also plays an important role inprevention and treatment of acute andchronic diseases of the eye.

Unfortunately, since correctiveeyewear and laser eye surgeryhave become a very profitablebusiness, non-profit-making medicalknowledge is generally kept outsidethe mainstream medical profession. To make sure that it remains so,

bioregulatory methodologies capableof improving eyesight are frequentlylabelled as medical charlatanism

that lacks true scientific references, and therefore both therapeuticallyineffective and medically irrelevant.

Luckily, "the proof is in thepudding"; the true value or qualityof something can only be judgedwhen it's put to use. The fact thatthe results are what count is not onlycommon sense, but it is also the mostfundamental principle of Hippocraticmedicine, otherwise known as the exjuvantibus principle. lt comes fromLatin, meaning "from that whichhelps." ln medical contexts this refersto the process of making an inferenceabout disease causation and treatmentfrom an observed response of thedisease to a treatment. Although theHippocratic Oath is fundamentallybased on the ex juvantibus principle, since monetary issues and politicsbecame an integral part of mainstreammedicine, this principle has sadlybeen frequently overlooked in clinicalpractice. Therefore, bioregulatoryophthalmology not only teaches itsstudents theoretical understandingof the eye's functioning, but it alsoprovides them with the practicalbenefits of improved eyesight.

lmproving Vision with BioregulatoryOphthalmology

There is no question that the eyecare industry is exceptionally goodat examining eyes and fitting themwith eye glasses, contact lenses orperforming laser surgery. Nearly 60percent of the American populationnow relies on some form of visioncorrection, and a multi-billiondollar industry has sprung up tomeet this need. What they cannotdo is restore vision to normal. Theydon'1 know the way and they don'thave the answers. To them it's agenetic predispositibn and there isnothing you can do about it. Whatwe need is a new understanding,a new approach that works foreveryone/ a clear path to successand a theory that explains how dowe reactivate Eyes.

Bioregulatory Ophthalmology

A psychological profile revealedanal characteristics, with tendency tocriticism and difficulties letting go.

lntegrated bioregulatory ophthal-mology treatments were recom-mended, and these were appliedweekly over the course of two months.Treatment began with structural workon the head and neck. Soft-tissuemassage techniques were used aimingto release the excessive musculartension at the cranial base and in thelateral neck muscles; this had theadditional objective of improvingthe vascular network to the head. The lymph flow was facilitated byusing lymphatic drainage technique, with the emphasis on the perioculararea and the infra-auricular lymphnodes. Acupressure was appliedto treat sensitive local and distalpressure points that correlate withthe function of the eyes. The patientwas also instructed to practice dailyself-acupressure of UB2, CB2O, Ll4,and Liv3 points. Cranial osteopathyfocused on the sphenobasilar jointand the most likely places forintracranial entrapment neuropathyof oculomotor, trochlearis, andabducens nerves, which regulateintra- and extraocular muscles. Sincethose nerves naturally regulate allocular muscles, it was importantto ensure that they were notcompromised along their path. Theparticular emphasis of the cranialwork was on the following locations:where those cranial nerves cross theborders of tentorium cerebelli, as theypass through cavernous sinus, wherethe particularly vulnerable spot was,the fibro-osseous canal beneath theposterior clinoid processes, at suturapetrobasilaris, and where those nervesenter the orbit through fissure orbitalissuperior.

For metabolic support of theeyes, during the first month,M.B. was instructed to take dailysupplementation of vitamin A in adose of 25,000 IU for support ofthe retinal pigment formation and

proper balance of intraocular fluid. ltwas prescribed in combination withRDA of taurine, lutein, zeaxanthin, and lycopene, nutrients with thespecific antioxidant properties ofovercoming free radical damage, alsohelping getting nutrients into cellsand removing cell debris and otherpotentially toxic substances from theeyes.

The patient was additionallyprescribed magnesium 400 mg daily, due to her need for increased naturalspasmolitics and detected nutritionaldeficiency.

M.B. was then instructed howto practise 45 minutes of daily eyeexercises, which were selected toaddress the excessive musculartension of her oblique extraocularmuscles. Excessive tension of thosemuscles perpetuates an elongatedshape of the eyeballs, interfering withnatural focal length and disturbingoptimal foveal vision, a very commoncharacteristic of the myopic eye. Mostof the selected exercises were basedon the principle of divergence, whichsets up a massage-like action of theoblique extraocular muscles. Thoseexercises were performed alternatelywith the relaxing palming exercise, as

balancing tonicity of external ocularmuscles also calls for stimulation-relaxation principle. To prevent themuscular strain due to eye exercises,M.B. was prescribed 40 drops ofTraumeel to take in her daily bottleof purified water. Regular use ofpinhole glasses was recommended forreading.

M.B. has completely stoppedwearing glasses and contact lensestwo weeks after the initial treatment, feeling very comfortable withoutthem. The consecutive eye test twomonths after the commencement ofher treatment showed 2O/2O vision, the equivalent of normal eyesight.

During her therapeutic process,M.B. also gained confidence andenthusiasm, not present before, resulting in more effortless

communication and self-expression.Two years after her bioregulatoryophthalmology treatment, she is stilloptical eyewear-free, enjoying the fullbenefits of the normal eyesight.
