WHEN?
PTS will be integrated into Fleet Ride

WHAT IT WILL DO FOR YOU
• All applications that are due will auto-populate using “corporate data” 15 mos away from SOFTSOFT EAOS/PRD onto a worklist *early applications for AEF*
• You will be able to work each application and submit it to NPC
• For larger commands, your Dept/Div CC’s will have ability to save applications, but not submit them.
What is “Corporate Data”?
• Advancements/Frocking/Designation should automatically post
• PRD adjustments
• EAOS
• Evaluations ‘should’ feed, but we need to verify them
• PRIMS data feed is not accurate, so will need to be populated

**PTS is moving toward Year Group rate management, so to give your Sailors realistic
expectations, be sure to review the ECM slides available at NPC**
WHAT WILL BE INTEGRATED?
• CARMAT WILL ESSENTIALLY GO AWAY, AND BE INTEGRATED INTO THE PTS/FLEET RIDE SYSTEM
• YOU WILL HAVE DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH THE ECM ON THE APPLICATION ITSELF
• REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR CONVERSION WILL BE LISTED WHEN THE APPROVAL RESULTS POST (IN A NOTE)

• All Sailors who are PTS eligible/required will need to be qualified in Fleet Ride. As you get your Career Development Boards done, qualify your Sailors in Fleet Ride.

ALGORITHM?
• There were recommended changes, but since nothing is final yet, I do not want to pass on information that is not accurate.
• When everything is final, I will enhance the brief with the latest information
TYCOM/ISIC INVOLVEMENT
• Your TYCOM and ISIC Counselors will have the capability to engage this system on your command’s behalf in the event of loss of connectivity.
• We will have the ability to look at your command to ensure applications have been submitted on time.
MAJOR CHANGE TO APPLICATIONS
• The applications that are not approved for in-rate or conversion quotas will not automatically rollover.
• Each application will need to be reviewed for its accuracy and submitted.
• Although this ‘seems’ like a bit more work, it is important that we are reviewing each application to make sure that the corporate data is feeding correctly.
Sailors need to understand..
• If you get rolled over 3x, your chances of in-rate approval drop by over 80%
• If you are in a CREO 2 or CREO 3 rating, and want to Stay Navy, please put conversion choices down
• Do not put a conversion choice down if you don’t want to do that job
• Sailors who do not want to reenlist still need to submit an application through PTS for accountability purposes
Point to Ponder
• Please make sure you are documenting your PTS conversations with your Sailors. CYB – generate a Page 13 for those Sailors who do not desire to reenlist, and have them initial it each month that they are in their PTS window.
