SPARK RESERVESThe SPARK Reserves is the long-term PTO funding source that provides and maintains capital investments for SPARK. The Reserves serve the same purpose as a Foundation. The main difference is that it falls under the umbrella of the PTO.

Based on the proposed budget, the PTO will be making significant investments in the school this year and the Reserves balance is forecast to end the year at $186,212. Most of this balance is held in FDIC insured cash accounts. The rest is held in exchange-traded index funds that invest in U.S. Government and investment-grade corporate bonds, in accordance with our investment policy. This portfolio is managed by Capital Investment Advisors, a SPARK Partner.
