Design Integrator partner, pTerex provides a range of innovative solutions that
combine IP mobility, security, IPv4/IPv6, video surveillance, and advanced wireless
uplink capabilities using Cisco® 3200 Series Rugged Integrated Services Routers.
Through the integrated pTerex Intelligent Services Module (ISM), pTerex offers
advanced sensor integration and normalization within an intelligent, net-centric
environment that interoperates with several incident response systems.
Partner Solution Description
The pTerex 7-Series Intelligent Access Platform provides seamless mobility for secure voice, video, data, collaboration, and other services. It transparently manages the automated roaming between multiple wired and wireless networks, including 3G cellular, Wi-Fi, satellite, Ethernet, and serial.
The Intelligent Access Platform facilitates a range of innovative net-centric solutions combining IP mobility, security, IPv4/IPv6, video surveillance, and advanced wired and wireless uplink capabilities through the Cisco 3200 Series Rugged Integrated Services Routers with Mobile Access Router Cards (MARC). The platforms are designed to operate reliably in extreme temperatures, at high altitudes, in wet environments, or when subjected to shock or vibration. pTerex platforms offer a choice of form factors, and they can be embedded in other systems. The pTerex Intelligent Services Module delivers intelligence and services throughout the network, facilitating net-centric intelligence and services-oriented network architecture (SONA) while reducing and securing network traffic. The pTerex mobile and intelligent access platform also supports an embedded uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for continuity of operation, enabling reliability and better uptimes.
