Travel 0.2mi. (Begin to follow signs to Camp Akita) Turn right onto Maple St / Fairfield County Rd 65 Cross the bridge and follow County Rd 65 for 2.7mi. Turn right at the white church onto Hurst Hill Rd, which becomes Logan-Hornsmill Rd Follow Logan-Hornsmill Rd for 2.7mi. to the main entrance, which will be on the left. Confirmation Track This retreat offers a Confirmation Track for youth who are preparing for Confirmation in their local congregation. !The Confirmation Track offers small group sessions that will explore the theme No Longer Strangers by looking at the topics of mission and being Christian in a multi-faith world, while also integrating Presbyterian polity, worship, and reformed theology. !If would like more specifics about the topics and content covered, email Brittany Porch at [email protected]. !!Packing List

no longer strangers Our retreat theme this year will be based on Ephesians 2:19. We will explore in worship, music, small group sessions, and recreation what it means to be citizens of God’s household in this multi-faith and constantly connected world. How do we treat other members of God’s household? How do we do mission and serve? !!!Cost $80 for youth participants $50 for adult leaders !Location Camp Akita is a mission of First Community Church, Columbus, Ohio. Akita’s 1200 acres, nestled in the heart of the Hocking Hills, features 15 miles of marked hiking trails; a 7-acre lake for fishing, swimming or canoeing; nature sanctuary; ropes challenge course; basketball court; and sand volleyball court. !Keynote We’ve invited very engaging and powerful speakers to help us frame this weekend. We will hear from Sean Delaney who served as YAV in Peru and is currently getting her MSW at OSU. !Small Groups This is a great opportunity to connect with other youth your age from around the presbytery. You’ll get to play games together, read scripture together, and have some deep discussion that will help you grow deeper as a group. !Worship This weekend brings many opportunities to worship God meaningfully. We will have an reflective vespers service on Saturday Evening and a closing worship sunday evening.
