Consulted with researchers and other subject matter specialists to develop an understanding of the project objectives. I researched and studied manuscripts, notes and background materials to gather ideas for creating the best possible visuals. I also created logos for WRAIR, the NAVY’s Neuro- Cognitive Vestibular-Acoustic Trauma Unit, and the US Army for the Accession Screening & Immunization Program. Also produced abstract illustrations such as: Plasmodia Life Cycle on Malaria, and other infectious diseases. I designed and created posters, slide presentations and programs for medical symposiums, and various other ceremonies. Designed and built large displays, and worked with IT as lead artist in the redesign of WRAIR‘s web site. I take pride in my work, and had an exceptional relationship with all my customers/researchers. I worked closely with them, building trust and giving them a quality product they would be proud of. Consequently, they were able to get the funding they needed. Each year I’ve received numerous commendations. I worked independently under the supervision of the Chief, Department of Medical Graphics.
