DESCRIPTION

For the PSO-World Community. A list of ideas that I came up with for tweaking the current state of PSO2. This does not factor in any updates that may come from the massive Episode 2 update - nor is it a final draft, and at any time it can be subject to change.

Page 2: PSO2 Tweaks And Changes

[Enemy Modifications: Natives]

-Rockbear-

• Now uses Enrage at 25% Health on Normal Mode; Will use Enrage at both 50% and 25% on Very Hard and up.

• No longer uses Triple Punch on Normal Mode during Enrage• New Move (Very Hard+): Rolls along the ground to slam into the enemy. Will continue rolling

until it collides with anything (Super Hard Only)• Increase speed and aggression on Very Hard and above

-Fang Banther & Banshee-

• Fang Banther will not join in until either: Fang Banshee is dead (Normal Mode Only), at 25% Health (Hard Mode Only), or 75% Health

• Both Fang Banther and Banshee will not use the Tree Prowl move until they are at 25% Health (Normal Mode Only) or 50% Health (Hard Mode Only). Very Hard and Above remain unchanged.

• New Tactic (Very Hard+): After jumping down from the trees after Tree Prowl, Fang Banther has a chance to re-use the same attack. On Super Hard, the use of this tactic is much more frequent. Breaking all four leg parts will prevent this tactic from being used.

• Fang Banther and Banshee have their slash range increased (Super Hard only). Breaking the leg parts negates this.

• Fang Banther will no longer use his Triple Slash combo on Normal, and will use it less frequently on Hard. No change made on Very Hard and up.

-De Malmoth-

• The stun period after breaking all face parts is increased slightly (Normal Mode only)• No longer uses “Frost Tremor” (Normal Mode only)• New Move (Super Hard Only): De Malmoth can now breath a cone of snow and ice from its

trunk. This move functions similar to that of Snow Banther and Banshee.

-Snow Banther and Banshee-

• New Tactic (Super Hard Only): When on the battlefield simultaneously, Snow Banther and Banshee will now alternate “Lunge Leap” in sequence – first Banshee, then Banther.

• New Move (Super Hard Only): Snow Banther will now be able to run across the field with a frontal “hitshield” that acts as a ramming attack. Capable of cancelling out into “Lunge Leap” at any point during this move.

[Enemy Modifications: Machines]

-Signo Beat-• Clones are now larger (Super Hard Only)

Page 3: PSO2 Tweaks And Changes

• Is now capable of a double slash (Very Hard) and triple slash (Super Hard)• Clones are harder to detect (Super Hard Only)

-Signo Gun-

• “Charged Buster” now charges quicker (Super Hard Only)• Can now fire a “Railgun Laser” shot (Super Hard Only)

-Gilnas-

• Can now grab and toss a foe without needing to be broken apart (Super Hard Only)

-Gilnas Core-

• Now fires a “Mechbuster Shot” whilst airborne (Very Hard+). Can also fire a “Railgun Laser” (Super Hard only)

• Repairs “Gilnas Arms” and “Gilnas Legs” faster (Super Hard Only)

-Tranmizer-

• Returns to REX Mode after one volley of “Scud Demolition” (Normal Mode Only).

-Big Vardha-

• No longer uses “Spatial Vacuum” on Normal Mode.• Big Vardha's “Vardhic Hammer” will now generate shockwaves a la Dark Falz Elder (Super

Hard Only)• Big Vardha's “Particle Cannon” will now draw foes in a la Dark Falz Elder (Super Hard Only).

Charging time is decreased (Very Hard+)• New Move (Super Hard Only): Big Vardha's eye will now generate a laser that will track one

party member on its deck. After a specified amount of time, it will fire a red laser at its target (it may also assault with its shoulder-mounted rockets which will generate a “Napalm Flame” effect upon detonation). Note that if the intended target leaves the deck, it will switch to the nearest target that possesses threat (in the case of multiple targets remaining on the deck, the newest target is the one with the highest amount of threat at the time).

[Enemy Modifications: Dragonkin]

-Vol Dragon-

• Vol Dragon will no longer enter Phase 3 on Normal Mode. On Hard Mode, he will not enter Phase 3 until 50% of his health is depleted

• On Normal and Hard Mode, his Phase 4 attacks are disabled. On Very Hard, the time it takes to use “Super Nova” is reduced if his health is ≥ 25%

• New Attack (Super Hard Only): During flight mode in Phase 4, Vol Dragon will now shoot a volley of three large, normal fireballs before he releases “Super Nova”

Page 4: PSO2 Tweaks And Changes

• New Tactic (Very Hard+): At 25% health, Vol Dragon will summon Nordirans instead of Diggs. On Super Hard, Vol Dragon will summon Nordirans at 50% Health, but at 25% health, he will summon Fordorans instead.

-Sol Sadinian-

• Now capable of firing two “Dragonflame” shots instead of one (Super Hard only)

-Set Sadinian-

• Now capable of firing a wave of blue energy from its sword. Will charge before use (Very Hard+). Charge time is significantly lower on Super Hard.

-Caterdransa-

• New Move (Very Hard+): Capable of firing a Blue Dragon Flame when in Berserk Mode. On Super Hard, this move comes out quicker and travels much faster than its Very Hard counterpart, and does not require Berserk Mode to be used.

• When Caterdran swings its tail, blue energy extensions now surround the crystal bit on its tail, much like a stinger (Super Hard Only). Breaking the tail cancels this effect.

-Quartz Dragon-

• Whenever Quartz Dragon charges forth, he now gains an Overend-like extension to his nose. Breaking his nose crystal cancels this effect. (Super Hard Only)

• New Tactic (Very Hard+): When Quartz Dragon soars into the background to use “Supersonic Swoop”, there is a chance he may return to the skies to reuse this attack. He will always strike from a different cardinal angle than the one he used first. On Super Hard, this move is almost certainly guaranteed. Breaking his wings increases the odds of stumbling, regardless of difficulty. However, the chance of this occurring is lower on higher difficulties.

• New Move (Super Hard Only): Quartz Dragon will soar into the background; however, instead of swooping down a la “Supersonic Swoop”, he will circle the arena whilst firing a massive barrage of “Dragonfire Rockets”. These will track the last location that you had stood.

[Enemy Modifications: Darker]

-Gwanadha-

• Reduced the amount of Gwanadha Bits spawned by Gwanadha. Increased the stun time after killing all tentacles (Normal Mode only)

• “Gnaw Toss” can now be escaped from (Normal and Hard Mode only). The window of escape is smaller on Hard than it is on Normal.

• Increased the speed at which Gwanadha Bits bury underground. (Very Hard+). For Normal Mode, this time is decreased by four seconds.

• New Tactic (Super Hard Only): Gwanadha can now use “Gnaw Toss” from further beneath the ground. In addition, the Gwanadha Bits now act as a beacon for this variation of the move.

Page 5: PSO2 Tweaks And Changes

-Kuklonadha-

• Is now capable of firing a “Darker Ballista” from its mace arm. (Super Hard Only)

-Cyclonehda-

• Can now whirl around its Mace Arm like the spinning portion of the Wired Lance PA “Other Cyclone” (Super Hard Only)

-Wohlgahda-

• New Move (Super Hard Only): Initiates a standing barrage of attacks similar to the Knuckle PA “Flash Thousand”

• New Tactic (Super Hard Only): During “Wohlga Tackle”, Wohlgahda will now continue to use this attack until he hits an enemy.

• New Tactic (Super Hard Only): Wohlgadha will use its throw more often.

-Zeshrayda-

• Zeshrayda's Sickle Arms are now capable of using “Darker Wave Slash”, similar to infected Dagans and El Dagans. (Super Hard Only)

• After repeated foot stomps, Zeshrayda has a high chance to fall down on the enemy. Always propels itself away if it does. (Super Hard Only)

• Zeshrayda's “Death Breath” is now capable of inflicting Poison.
