PSAT Testing Next Week
PSAT Testing on October 13 for Grades 9, 10 and 11
Westside High School will be hosting College Board test-ing on Wednesday, October 13, 2021:
• PSAT/NMSQT for all 10th and 11th grade students • PSAT 9 for all 9th grade students Please see the attached documents if you would like further information about these tests: PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 9
There is NO FEE and NO REGISTRATION required.
Testers have received information about Khan Academy, the authorized online practice platform for these tests, as well as information about setting up a College Board ac-count. They will need their College Board account infor-mation to retrieve scores in late November.
Test Day Details for Students:
• Arrive at school no later than 7:30 am and report to their homeroom class.
Bring a photo ID, 2 #2 (non-mechanical) pencils, and a cal-culator. (A list of acceptable calculators may be found here: https://sat-dev1.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/taking-the-tests/test-day-checklist/approved-calculators.) PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO make-up opportuni-ties for either of these tests.

News from Westside’s Choir
Westside Choir is pleased to announce that one of our Chamber Singers, Isaac Smith, placed 3rd in our region at recent district auditions for All State Choir. Isaac's next competition round is on October 16th at Morton Ranch HS. We wish him all the best as he competes for a spot in Region Choir and potentially on to Pre-Area and Area auditions for the Texas All State Choir. Way to go, Isaac! Proud of our Wolf!
Shout Out to Westside’s WIT Program
Westside Inclusive Theatre Class
Westside Inclusive Theatre is a course designed to provide students with special needs access to the fun world of theatre! Throughout this course, students develop life skills as they work alongside student leaders and other supportive peers. As a means to develop these skills, stu-dents will partake in projects such as: puppet making, performances, lip syncs, devised theatre, and more. Way to go, Wolves!
