1Behold, how good and pleasant it is    when brothers dwell in unity!2It is like the precious oil on the head,    running down on the beard,

on the beard of Aaron,    running down on the collar of his robes!3It is like the dew of Hermon,    which falls on the mountains of Zion!

For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

Unity is Well-Pleasing (v.1)

Unity is Sweet-Smelling (v.2)2It is like the precious oil on

the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of

Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!

30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Unity is Life-Giving (v.3)3It is like the dew of Hermon,

   which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded
