MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICSPorcelainPorcelain is the fi nest and most durable type of ceramic. Our porcelain series with their rein-forced edges are highly resistant to traces of use which make them perfect for the daily heavy use in the hotel and restaurant business. They are dishwasher safe as well as ovenproof and micro-waveable (up to 300° C). Our products contain neither lead nor cadmium.

Instructions for use:- Avoid sudden temperature shocks. Do never put

hot dishes into cold water. Never place porcelain dishes that come straight from the oven on cold surfaces.

- Do not hold porcelain dishes into open fi re.- To maintain the shine of your dishes, pay at-

tention to the correct dosage of detergent and ensure adequate removal of limescale.

A more sophisticated manu-facturing processes and the use of special raw materials differs bone china from classic, white porcelain. The par-ticular hardness of the material makes this fi ne dishes also highly durable. It is dishwasher safe as well as ovenproof and microwaveable.

SlatePlates made of natural slate are ideally suited for food presentations - modern or traditional.

- The plates are resistant to contact with hot or cold sur-faces and can therefore be perfectly used as dish or presentation plate.

Material characteristicsAll cutlery series are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher safe. The ratio of chrome and nick-el determines the quality of stainless steel and thus of your cutlery:

- Chrome-nickel stainless steel 18/10 (18 % chrome / 10 % nickel): Provides the best rust pro-tection and is the best guarantee for durability and resistance to food acids.

- Chrome steel 18/0 (18 % chrome / 0 % nickel): Attractively priced, largely insensitive to food ac-ids, magnetic and therefore suitable for sorting systems.

- Chrome steel 13/0 (13 % chrome / 0 % nickel): Cheap monoblock knives, made from one piece chrome steel 13/0.

Monoblock or hollow handle knifeThe difference is in the handle.

- At the monoblock knife the blade and handle are forged from one piece.

- At the high-quality hollow handle knife the handle consists of two separately produced half-shells (chrome-nickel stainless steel 18/10). The harde-ned steel blade is cemented in the knife handle and increases the durability and edge retention.

MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICSCrystal glassCrystal glass differs from conventional glass by its particularly high transparency, brilliance, thin material thickness and light weight. With its attractive appear-ance and fi ne mouth rim stemmed glasses made of crys-tal glass are also perfect for the degustation.

Tempered glassTempered glass was treated with a special process in which it is heated to several hundred degrees and then rapidly cooled down. Therefore it is extremely durable and shock-resistant. Tempered glass is two to fi ve times harder than conventional glass. Ideal for the daily heavy use in the hotel and restaurant business.

Sparkx®

Sparkx® belongs to a new generation of glass. In an exclusive manufacturing process arises a glass that is both highly impact resistant and dishwasher safe. The used materials guarantee absolute transparency - for glasses with durable gloss, in which each wine can be presented appropriate. Sparkx® is an environmentally friendly material.

Pressed glassThe pressing is one of the oldest methods of glass pro-duction. Shape and decor are made in one step: In the pressing process produced mugs and stem glasses have thicker walls and are provided with relief decor. Pressed glass is smooth and glossy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONSWith the following advice, you can prolong the lifetime of your glassware:

- Wash glass separately from dishes and cutlery.

- Make sure that the glass do not touch each other in the dishwasher.

- Use dishwashing detergents and cleaners and note the water hardness when dosing.

Frequent washing in the dishwasher can wear and tar-nish your glass. This depends on the water hardness and the used products (detergents, cleaners...).

FURNITURECharacteristics and instructions for use

RattanRattan (cane) is extracted from the root of the rattan palm. The fi bers are mostly used for chairs or armchairs. Rattan furniture are not suitable for outdoor use.

Benefi ts: - Lightweight, durable and fl exible- Easy to clean- At all natural materials, color changes are possible. This is to be

regarded as a natural patina.

Use and care instructions: Dust off the furniture with a shammy leather or brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner before use. Wipe clean with a damp soft cloth. Dry qickly.

Artifi cial leatherUpholstery covers made of artifi cial leather are almost indis-tinguishable from real leather. This cover material is made of natural fi ber fabric or synthetic fi bers that are coated with a

soft PVC surface.

Care instructions: The easy-care and robust artifi cial leather can be easily cleaned in case of dirt. The surface only has to be wiped. For tough dirt additio-nally mild detergents or soapy water is suffi cient for cleaning. If necessary, wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth.

Solid woodNatural material, which is cut out of trees. The single slats can be also glued together to plates. Real wood veneer is made from very thin, cutted wood slats that will be glued together to

large leaves. Due to the natural growth of the tree every piece of wood gets its special grain pattern and may also contain branches. Thus, each solid wood furniture is unique.Benefi ts: - Stable, robust & durable

PlywoodThis material consists of several layers of veneers that are glued always transverse to the wood fi ber. This results in a very high static strength. Plywood can be used invisible

or visible in wooden constructions.

Care instructions: Clean laminated or sealed surfaces with a soft cloth and mild dishwashing detergents and wipe with a damp cloth afterwards. Wipe real wood veneer with a soft, damp cloth quickly.

Teak woodTeak wood is a durable and high-quality plantation wood that is very well suited for outdoor furniture due to the unique stability and resistance.

Benefi ts: - Weatherproof- Robust & durable

Use and care instructions: Teak wood has a naturally high oil content and can withstand extreme weather conditions without much care effort. Due to the in-fl uence of rain and sun maybe there arises a natural weathering process. In order to maintain the original color for a longer time, we recommend the treatment with our care set (Ref. 90379) once a season. Teak furniture should be stored covered during winter. Avoid storing the furniture in heated rooms, because the wood dries out quickly. We recommend regular tightening of the screws.

PolypropylenePolypropylene is a very resistant and reliable plastic and is characterized by high strength.

Care instructions: Plastic furniture should occasionally be cleaned with water and mild detergent. Aggressive cleaning agents can damage the plastic surface. Dirt can be easily accumulate at these spots and sun or light can change the color of the product permanently.

SteelVery robust and steadfast metal material whichcan be coated with various surface processes.

- For indoor use, the surface is mostly powder-coated and chromed. As these do not come in contact with the weather, this type of surface treatment is suffi cient.

- For outdoor use, the surface must be galvanized before powder-coating. Thus creates a suffi cient protection against corrosion.

- For stainless steel, there are different quality levels, where some are suitable for outdoor use and some not.

Care instructions: Occasionally clean with mild soap and water and then dry quickly.

Plastic wickerPlastic wicker consists of an artifi cially produced fi ber, which is characterized by a high fl exibility and tear-resist-ance. The fi bers are totally dyed through so that color

changes over time are excluded. They do not absorb moisture and the furniture dry qickly after rain. Plastic wicker is stain repellent and resistant to high tem-perature fl uctuations.

Benefi ts - Weatherproof & UV-resistant- Colorfast- Particularly durable

Care instructions: Dirt can be removed easily with a damp cloth or a soft brush and possibly a bit of soapy water. Hard brushes should be never used. The surface may be damaged and there is a risk that the material becomes brittle after a time. To extend the lifetime we recommend the storing in protected in-door areas or the use of protective covers.

AluminumAluminum furniture are lightweight and thus also very handy to transport. At the same time they are very sturdy and can easily be left outside in the rain, also optimal for
