Lunch Monday - Friday Noon - 12:30 p.m. Please see staff for requirements to join program. Must order lunch by 1 p.m., day before. Lunch must be received by 12:15 p.m., or it is sold to someone else.

ESL for beginners Monday 10:30 a.m.

Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mah Jongg drop in.

Horticulture Club

Stay Active for Indendent Living (SAIL) is a strength, balance and fitness program

for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and

fitness are the single most important activity that adults can do to stay active and

reduce their chance of falling. The entire curriculum of activities in the SAIL

program can help improve strength and balance, if done regularly. This meets for

12 weeks. This program is free. You must register and attend all sessions. Class

has limited space.

"Get your Brain On" Monday 11:15 a.m. Cognitive activities such as trivia, puzzles, soduku etc.

Book Club 2nd Tuesday 1:30 - 3 p.m. 2nd Tuesday of every month held in the billiards room.

Join Anita, recreation therapist for some yoga, stretching and meditation in the

sensory room.

Gym 7 - 8 p.m.

Zumba with the addition of weights. Please bring 1-2 lbs weights. This class is

open to adults and seniors and may be at a higher intensity level. $5.00 per

session.

Zumba for adults 50 and older who are looking for a modified Zumba class that

recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The choreograph

incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and other latin dances. $5.00

per sesion

Zumba Tuesday Gym 11:30 - 12:30 p.m.Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreograph incorporates hip-

hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and other latin dances. Adult 18+ $5.00

Low to mild intensity, aerobic fitness class. Use of moderate weights is

Chair Exercise Friday

Cardio and strength training exercises done seated and standing. This type of

exercise is excellent for arthritis, joint related issues, or recovering from injury.

$5.00 per session. Must register to participate.

Event When Time Description

Afternoon Tea Fridays 1 - 1:30 p.m.

Sit down and relax with a warm cup of tea and crackers. Talk about current

events, social events or brain storm on upcoming events or trips you'd like to have

at the center!

Summer Time Paint and Sip 9-Aug 10:30 a.m. Grab some drinks, paint and socialize. Let your inner creativity come out.

Fairfax Towne Centre 14-Aug 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Get all your shoppings needs done at Fairfax Towne Centre: Safeway, Joann

Fabrics, Bed Bath and Beyond, Panera Bread, TJ Maxx etc. $1.00 for

transportation. You may bring your own food or purchase at site.

Dutch Country Farmers Market 18-Aug 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Purchase fresh meat, produce, cheese and bakery items. Or, prefer a nice cooked

meal, chocolates or jams? Come shop at the Dutch Country Farmer's Market.

$1.00 for transportation. Bring extra cash to purchase goods.

Happy Birthday, BINGO! 23-Aug 10:30 a.m. - noon Monthly birthday celebration. Enjoy some delishes snacks with a game of BINGO!

Hibachi Buffet and Grill 28-Aug 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Enjoy a delicious spread of freshly made Hibachi, sushi, meats, rice, salad, dessert

and MORE! Don't forget, ask for the "Senior Citizen Discount". Cost $1.00 for
