Perverseness is
distortion and
viciousness.
Proverbs 12:25 An
anxious heart
weighs a man
down, but a kind
word cheers him
up. (NIV)
5
Our words affect not only others,
but ourselves as well.
Wholesome words are healing words.
Philippians 4 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for
I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to
be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I
know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I
am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to
abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things
through Christ which strengtheneth me. Declaration

Joshua 1 9 Have not I com-
manded thee? Be strong and
of a good courage; be not
afraid, neither be thou
dismayed: for the LORD thy
God is with thee whither-
soever thou goest.
“I am not afraid; I am strong and
courageous. The Lord my God is with me
all the time and everywhere.”
7
Jesus Christ is my Wisdom, Righteousness,
holiness, and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30
“I am what God says I am; I
am who God says I am; I
can do what God says I can
do.”
8
I will not fear nor be dismayed, for God Almighty
is with me. He will help me, strengthen me, and
uphold me with His victorious Right Hand. Isaiah 41:10
1 Corinthians 15 57 But thanks be to God, which
giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
“God has given me the victory through
my Lord, Jesus Christ.”
“Thank You Lord.”
9
But words alone will not change our lives.
Live It..
10
5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he
that regardeth reproof is prudent.
Perhaps your natural father has not given you wise
instruction, but if you will accept it, God has given
you a spiritual father to help you.
Ephesians 6 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your
children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture
and admonition of the Lord.
11
1 Timothy 5 1-2 Do not rebuke an older man
harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father.
Treat younger men as brothers, older women as
mothers, and younger women as sisters, with
absolute purity. Family of GodTitus 2:1-8 (NIV) 1 You must teach what is in accord
with sound doctrine. 2 Teach the older men to be
temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and
sound in faith, in love and in endurance. 3 Likewise,
teach the older women to be reverent in the way they
live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but
to teach what is good.
12
4 Then they can train the younger women to love
their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled
and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be
subject to their husbands, so that no one will
malign the word of God. 6 Similarly, encourage the
young men to be self-controlled. 7 In everything set
them an example by doing what is good. In your
teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and
soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so
that those who oppose you may be ashamed
because they have nothing bad to say about us.
13
I hope your family was a godly family and that
your parents taught you the Way of God.
But if not, God has given you a new family, a
spiritual family, and with it a second chance.
Submit yourself to the Word of God, no matter
who is teaching it; The Word is The Way.
14
If the Bible says it is wrong, it is wrong.
The Bible says, “Be not drunk.”
“Don’t fornicate or commit adultery.”
“Don’t lie, cheat, or steal.”
“Don’t commit murder.”
This is God’s Way to live and be blessed.
15
If the Bible says it’s right, it is right.
The Bible says, “Set a good example.”
“Get together with other saints and worship.”
“Be serious.”
“Be trustworthy”
“Honor your mama and your daddy.”
Knowing these things, we will be
happy if we gladly do them.
