Overview Sarawak Plantation Berhad (SPB) is the sole supplier of oil palm planting material in Sarawak.

SUREA DXP is the official brand name after SIRIM Standard MS157:2005 certification has been obtained in June 2008 and MPOB license to sell Surea DxP germinated seeds has been awarded in October 2008.

MOU was signed between MPOB and SPAD in 1994. Elite mother palms were supplied in collaboration with MPOB to produce high ffb yield, high oil to bunch ratio and low height increment. Extensive oil palm breeding program is being carried out with consultation by experience oil palm breeder from MPOB.
