Welcome.The V2 Motorcycle run is 4 days of camaraderie and fun, whilst riding and driving some of our most interesting roads (all asphalt) during the day and enjoying the best food and wine the state has to offer in the evenings. The event is open to entrants with touring motorcycles and interesting/classic vehicles. During the event entrants also have the option of flights in the helicopter or relaxing in the bus that both accompany the event.

THE ROUTEThe proposed route for 2017 begins on Thursday 19 Oct departs the Adelaide Hills and will showcase the best of the South East, finishing on Sunday 22 Oct in Stirling.Day 1: Starting at the Stirling Hotel we head through the Hills to Meningie and then Robe, where a seafood extravaganza will be a highlight.Day 2: From Robe to Penola, via Beachport and Port

MacDonnell with lunch at Wannon Falls. The Coonawarra check-in will allow plenty of time to prepare for the 10th anniversary theme night and a sumptuous ‘coal fired’ roast dinner.Day 3: This is a loop through Western Victoria with lunch at the Dergholm ‘Pub in the Scrub’ before returning to Penola. Dinner is at Hollicks winery, with incredible views over the vineyard.Day 4: From Penola to lunch at the Stirling Hotel, via Keith and Coonalpyn.

ENTRY FEESingle bike or car: $550 (inc. GST) entry fee, along with a minimum payment of $4,500 sponsorship or fundraising.Partner teams riding on two separate bikes: $550 (inc. GST) entry fee covers both bikes, along with a minimum fundraising component of $7,500.Of course, as with all Variety events, we encourage our entrants to fundraise as much as possible over these minimums.In addition there is a participation fee covering meals, event merchandise, entertainment and quality accommodation along with nightly sunset parties are included. This participation fee is a cost payable per person.SAFETY AND SUPPORTAs with all Variety events, safety on the V2 Motorcycle Run is paramount. Our experienced team is well equipped with the latest communications equipment and includes medical officials, a fully equipped mobile workshop with motorbike trailer, a catering team, a helicopter and a bus.
