Rumors said this same man was seen in Munday, Knox City and Seymour. Local po- lice in those three towns got no reports of such an indi- vidual, although the Haskell police did put out an APV on this character. If anyone sees this activity or the man with the puppy involving himself in such activities, they should immediately try and get the tag numbers on the vehicle and call the police. In the mean time, parents are urged to pre-warn their children of “stranger danger” and to watch out for this perpetrator. Tamara Smart Liberty Church of God in Christ held their celebra- tion for the 85th anniversa- ry this past weekend. With performances by the youth, dancing and singing from the gathering of people, the church was alive with wor- ship. A group from Dallas lead the praise on Saturday night causing every wor- shiper to get on their feet, clap their hands, in some cases, dance feverishly to praise His name. The Liberty Church of God in Christ is a communi- ty church where everyone is invited to worship and learn anytime their doors are open. As a Pentecostal setting, they are known for their fun-filled praise style. They meet on Mondays for a pastoral les- son, and Sundays. For more information call Patricia Young or Pastor Ward. New Di- rection Ministries is a quar- tet out of Cleveland, Texas who travels the country to sing God’s praise and wor- ship. Singing traditional to Middle of the Road South- ern Gospel Music along with Bro. Darren Smith preaching biblical truths from the uncompromised word of God, New Direc- tion is sure to provide a This family group made of brothers, Jim Smith and Darren Smith, along with their wives, Teresa (Jim’s wife) and Donna (Bro. Dar- ren’s wife) have been in the ministry for over 30 years.
