Buckhead Beef was established in 1983, with a handful of devoted employees and a very simple operating philosophy: to provide the finest quality products at the best prices. Buckhead joined the family of Sysco companies in 1999. Each local Buckhead plant is committed to providing exemplary service and maximizing customer satisfaction. Our Buckhead Meat of New England facility opened in 2011 and services the needs of Sysco Boston’s customers.
Buckhead Meat of New England’s sole role is the partner supplier to Sysco Boston for premium portion control steaks & chops. In addition we also provide portion control pork, lamb and veal. Buckhead Meat of New England is capable of customizing our offerings to suit any customer’s needs. We wet age all grades of beef: Prime, Certified Angus Beef, Choice and Select. Dry age beef program is available as well.
Yield and sustainability go together. We maximize the yield by creating value “by
product” steaks and medallions from what some would consider the left overs of portion steak cutting. Recycling of plastics and cardboard happens on a daily basis to reduce volume going into local landfills.
The majority of our beef is sourced from the corn rich, mid-west states, some packer and plant specific. As the for all natural proteins continues to grow, we have responded by expanding our offerings as well.
