Quick access options

Pop out menu options in various screens that allow quick access to existing Sage modules associated with the current record being accessed. For example, from within the Customer Account Enquiry Screen options will be made available to launch screens for the customer currently being accessed without having to close the existing screen, find the appropriate menu option, open the screen and re-find the customer record.

The following example displayed the Customer Account Enquiry screen offering options to create a new credit note, an invoice account, sales order, quote, view previous sales orders, outstanding sales order, and so on...

Advanced Customer Search

On screens that provide controls to search and select a customer, a new search button will be added allowing the user to launch an advance customer search screen. The screen allows customer records to be sought and listed based on partial word searching against the customer's name, address, delivery address or an invoice number.

Advanced Supplier Search

On screens that provide controls to search and select a supplier, a new search button will be added allowing the user to launch an advance supplier search screen. The screen allows supplier records to be sought and listed based on partial word searching against the supplier's name and address or an invoice number.

View Postcode Location

Within the Customer, Supplier, POP Order/Return and SOP Order/Return/Quote/Pro Forma screens, launches Bing Maps in a web-browser displaying the location based on the address post code.

Multi Select And Log Off Users

Enables multi-select within the disconnected users list to log-off all selected

items.

Trader Pop Up Messages

Allows the configuration of popup messages for either a customer or supplier that can be displayed to the user when the trader is selected within the new purchase or sales order entry screens.

Message can also be given an activation date range therefore ensuring that it only displayed to the user if the current date falls within the range specified.

Review Sales Orders Statuses

Add previously sold items

Accessed from within the New and Amend SOP Order screens, lists those items previously sold to the selected customer allowing the user to quickly select and add the items to the order. The screen also allows visibility of alternate items to be quickly added to the order.

Allocate Sales Order

Available within the SOP New and Amend Order Entry screens, performs an auto allocation of stock to all lines in the current order.

De-Allocate Sales Order

Available within the SOP New and Amend Order Entry screens, simply de-allocates all allocated stock lines.

Calc Net

Available within the New and Amend Sales Order Entry screens, offering a utility to work out the Unit Net Price based on a total Gross Price, quantity, tax rate and options discount values. It does not set the lines unit price to the displayed value, this has to be manually entered back into the line by the user.

Save and Acknowledge

Available within the SOP New and Amend Order Entry screens allowing the user to save the current order details and print the order acknowledgement. To save cluttering the screen with additional buttons, when this feature is enabled it will change Sage's existing 'Save and Generate PO' button into a drop button with this option added.

Save, Allocate and Despatch

Available within the SOP new and amend order entry screens allowing the user to save the current order details, print the order acknowledgement (if necessary), auto-allocate the order and then fully despatch the items allocated. Create Sales Return from Sales Order

New screen allowing a user to search and select a sales order, and create a sales return duplicating the sales order details. The new sales return is displayed to the user allowing them to make changes or cancel the new return.

SOP Despatch/Receipts

Sage will only show the Despatch/Receipt history for orders and returns when accessing the individual order rather than via a list. This module therefore offers searching and listing of despatched orders and return receipts without currently having to open each individual order/return to view despatch/receipt details.

Outstanding SOP Orders

Module that lists outstanding orders with filtering options. User can then Acknowledge, Allocate, print a Picking List and Despatch the selected order.

Change Quote Status

Allows the status of a quote to be changed between 'Cancelled' and 'Live'. When cancelled it prevents the quote from being converted to a sales order and therefore retained without having to delete the quote.

Add Previously Purchased Items

Accessed from within the New and Amend Purchase Order screens. When selected will lists those items previously ordered from the currently selected supplier and/or those stock items supplied by that supplier allowing the user to quickly select and add the items to the order.

Create Purchase Return from Purchase Order

New screen allowing a user to search and select a purchase order and create a purchase return duplicating the order details. The new purchase return is displayed to the user allowing them to make changes or cancel the return.

Enable POP Delivery Address

As the title suggests enables the delivery and contact controls within the purchase order entry screens allowing the user to freely type an alternate delivery address.

Receive into multiple locations

Adds a button to the POP Goods Received screen allowing a line in the receipt grid to be copied and the goods to be split and received into a different locations. Sage by default will only allow goods to be received into one location.

Display GRN No

When enabled, upon saving the details within the POP Goods Received Screen the GRN number is displayed to the user.

POP GRN Report

When enabled, upon saving the details within the POP Goods Received Screen a Goods Received Report is printed with the details of the received goods.

POP Receipt/Returns Module that offers searching and listing of receipts and returns without currently having open individual purchase orders or returns to view the information. Screen layout and functionality is similar to the above Sales Order Despatch/Receipt history screen.

Outstanding POP Orders

Lists outstanding orders with filtering options. User can also launch the Receive Order screen for a selected order. Screen layout and is similar to the above Sales Order Outstanding POP Orders screen but with the option to receive items as opposed to Allocating, Despatching etc...
