His contribution in the development of the magnificiant Shri Khemisati Mandir at Jhunjhunu is a

Icon for any social worker. Shri Rajasthani Seva Sangh Trust under his leadership made substantial

contribution in the development of temple, School and College at J.B. Nagar. Education was very

close to his heart. He started a School at Jhunjhunu in his Father’s Name and he had a vision to

make Jhunjhunu an Educational Hub by having a University at Jhunjhunu.

We all are very proud that we are in the process of fulfilling the dream of Shri Jagdishprasad

Jhabarmal Tibrewala, the beloved Past President of Shri Rajasthani Seva Sangh in overall

ABOUT JJT UNIVERSITY

JJT University has been established by the Government of Rajasthan and ordinance 7 of 2008. We would promote students to be pro-active and creative. We believe that on the road to excellence there is no finishing line.

LOCATION

JJT University is situated at Village Chudella, Distt. Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) on the Jhunjhunu -

Bishau - Churu Road. It is about 20 Kms. west of Jhunjhunu. The University can be reached either

by rail or by road. The nearest railway station is Jhunjhunu.

CAMPUS AND HOSTEL RULES

Separate hostels for boys and girls are available at JJT University. It is not mandatory for the

students to avail the hostel facility. Hostel seats are limited.

vApplication form for hostel admission may be sent along with the admission form.

vA student will be admitted in hostel on the basis of merit only after getting regular admission

in a class.

vFinal admission will be only given after medical examination by the Medical Officer and after

depositing proper fee and approval of chief Warden thereafter.

vChief Warden, JJT University reserves the right to refuse admission to the hostel without any

reason whatsoever.

vHe/She also has a right to cancel the admission of any student after 3 weeks if the proper fee

is not deposited by stipulated time.

vHostel reserves the right to refuse admission to those who are irregular in attendance or

whose academic performance remains unsatisfactory in the previous year.

vIt is mandatory to follow the instructions of Warden, Chief Warden and the Proctor regarding

monitoring the discipline otherwise it may cause termination from hostels.

vAll the students should attend classes as well as practicals regularly. Absence from classes

without prior permission may cause cancellation of admission from hostel except in case of

illness.

vIt is collective as well as individual responsibility of the students to keep the hostel premises

clean and healthy.

vStudents should not create any inconvenience to the other students of the hostel.

vNo student should tempt any other student to breach any of these rules.

vStudents must remain inside their rooms after the silence bell.

vCooking is not allowed inside the room.

vElectrical stove, emersion rod, heaters, heating blowers, music system with speakers etc.

are not permissible in the hostel. Such equipment if found in the hostel room Confiscated.

vWalkman with headphones may be used in the room subject to the no objection by other

students. If it is found inconvenient it may be taken away and will be returned only at the time

of leaving the hostel.

vStudents should not keep excess cash in their rooms. It should be kept in bank account.

They are also not supposed to keep any valuables in their room, the college will not be held

responsible in case of any loss.

vAll the correspondence by the students should be through the hostel.

vBreach of rules & regulations would cause termination from hostel and the decision of

Proctor will be final in this regard which will be acceptable to the guardian as well.

Note: Special diet may be provided on special occasions.

INNOVATIVE TEACHING TECHNIQUES

ACADEMIC NORMS

1. It is mandatory for the students to attend the Lectures, Tutorials & Practical classes regularly. It is compulsory for the students to attend the

stCollege from the very 1 day as they will be given Time Table as well as Course Plan for every subject by the faculty of respective subject.

2. The student is eligible to attend Mid Term test of any subject provided his/her attendance is 75% in Lectures, Tutorials & Practical classes individually. The Mid Term marks awarded to the detained students will be zero.

3. The students will get the exemption in the attendance only on medical grounds. Doctors Certificate must be produced.

4. If any student is absent without having permission from Tutor-Guardian and Head of Department for more than three days the financial punishment of Rs. 50/- per day will be imposed for the number of days the student is absent without permission from the above.

5. There will be caution money of Rs. 2000/- on the refundable basis. The financial punishment, laboratory equipment breakage, classroom untidiness will be recovered from the Caution Money as and when it occurs and balance amount will be refunded to the student after graduation.

6. Throughout the years JJT University will maintain high standards of discipline and behavior. A team of dedicated personnel's will handle the issues of misconduct, indiscipline and other matters related to students behaviour. The Proctor Committee has all rights to take any action against the student found guilty of any misbehavior. The action can go up to rustication of the student from the campus or even detention from the examination.

7. The College gate for the students will be closed 10 minutes after the College timings and students will not be allowed to enter the College premises after that.

8. The students are strictly prohibited to use Camera, Cell phones in the college premises. If any student is found with camera cell phone, it will be confiscated and monetary fine will be imposed.

9. In between every semester the college will organize a parent teacher meet so that the parents/guardians may know the progress of their ward. It is compulsory for the parent to attend the parent teacher meet.

The syllabus of each course would be modern, comprehensive and would be updated on a regular basis in a structured manner in consultation with the respective Board of Studies and through interaction with industry professionals and academicians. Thus our courses would anticipate and prepare students to meet changing industry requirements.

Our Curriculum would include a range of exciting courses that would take advantage of new teaching methods and the reinforcement of basic skills and concepts. Programme would start with academic preparation and foundations for a review of essential skills and conceptual frameworks that would guide their learning throughout the curriculum.

Application form can be obtained by paying cash of Rs. 1000/- at the admission office or by sending

a Bank DD of Rs. 1000/- in favour of “JJT University” payable at Jhunjhunu. The form can also be

downloaded from our website http://www.jjtu.ac.in In case of downloading the duly filed form must

be sent along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of “JJT University” payable at Jhunjhunu

before the last date.

A student can get himself/herself registered in the JJT University by sending a duly filled application

form. All the students shall have to appear in the Entrance Exam [either conducted by JJT

University or any other concerned authority like RPETEAP, AIEEE, MAT, RMAT etc].

At the time of declaration of result of entrance exam student who wish to reserve their seat will have

to deposit Rs. 10,000/- as confirmation fee through cash or Bank DD in favour of JJT University,

payable at Jhunjhunu at the admission office of JJT University within a week's time. Day Scholars

shall have to deposit their remaining Annual fee within 15 days of the date of deposition of

confirmation fee, otherwise admission will be treated as cancelled and deposited confirmation fee

will be forfeited, however hostellers can deposit their remaining Annual fee in two installments. The

First Installment along with the hostel fee must be deposited within 15 days of deposition of the st

confirmation fee and the second Installment shall have to be deposited within 15 days of the 1

installment.

Norms

1. Fees once paid is non-refundable/nonadjustable in any case.

2. There will be a late fine of Rs. 50/- per day after the last date for another 15 days.

3. After the last date, the students name will be struck off from the college rolls. Once the name

of the student is struck off from college rolls the student will have to take readmission. The

readmission fee is Rs. 5000/-

4. After a month of last date of fee deposition readmission case will not be considered.

5. All payments will be in form of a Bank DD in favour of JJT University payable at Jhunjhunu.

6. Apart from Tuition Fees all other fees which include Library Fees, Gymkhana Fees,

Enrolment Fees, Library Deposit, Library Fees, Examination Fees, Internal Assessment

Fees, Caution Money, Disaster Relief Fund, Cultural Activity Fees, Project Fees, Mark-sheet

Fees, Administration Charges, Document Verification Fees, Utility Fees, Magazine Fees, ID

Card Fees, Group Insurance Charges, Student Welfare Fund, Development Fund, Sports &

Cultural Charges, E-Charges, Project Fees, etc etc. would be charged extra.

7. Charges for Blazer, Tie, Industrial Visits, etc. and would be charged as per actual.

A cohesive approach and requisite efforts help attaining this goal provided the leader has the excellence of getting his associate around.

The University would shape the personality of its students to become dynamic and time-oriented, prepared to fight the ever growing competition in this advancing technological world.

A man is known by the books he reads. Our Library spans over more than 6000 sq ft. and has over 20000 books of different titles, large number of journals, magazines and periodicals of national and international level. Students project reports as well as students seminar reports related to the department would also be kept. Library would cover all the aspects of technical studies, with a separate section of Electronic Audio-Video aids. We firmly believe that students would be benefited with such a huge collection of study material and they would be encouraged to read more. Our experienced librarians would work closely with the lecturers to make sure that the recommended material and the books are available to the students.

Internet is the means to access world wide information. It has become the need of the time, keeping this in view; JJT University has made available a well equipped internet lab, with internet connectivity. The lab would be open for the students even after the college hours.

Training and Placement cell of JJT University would address a wide range of career conferences of the students and would be involved in the coordination, administration and management of various career planning and placement programs. Even before the initiation of the University the management has set their aim to make this University placement oriented by involving themselves in coordination with different industries.

We are seeking the requirement of the industry with the help of training and placement cell and will make the students ready as per the requirement of the industries. This phenomenon of tailor making would be rare and advantageous. Secondly, the students would be groomed in such a way that they can be differentiated on the spot. Effective communication and inter personal skills are crucial to increase the placement marketability and competitiveness amongst the students to qualify for interviews.

Training and Placement cell would provide a good platform for the students by providing them opportunities in the topmost companies of India as well as abroad.

Students belonging to Sc / St / Dt / Nt, etc and Economical Backward classes who wish to avail of scholarship should apply along with the necessary documents for concession in tuition fees and the same may be considered on merit basis.

We have a spacious and well furnished canteen, which would serve all delicacies from paranthas to chow-mein, pastries to sandwiches and shakes to coffee. Here the students would be able to unwind and refresh their minds with delicious food and melodious music.

Gymnasium

A healthy mind stays in a healthy body. For the proper physical development of the students we at JJT University provide two well equipped gymnasiums [separate for boys and girls] where, students would be able to work out to keep themselves fit.

Health Zone

Clinical facility is provided for in the campus

manned by an experienced general physician would look after all the necessary medical emergency of the students, as well as the faculty members. A good stock of all the necessary medicines including anti-biotic, anti-allergic would be kept within the campus so that an emergency can be handled at the earliest.

Sports

All work and no play would make any person dull. The sports department would be run by a team of highly skilled sports and exercise experts.

The campus has extensive facilities for Indoor Sports & Outdoor Sports. The facilities which include a world class cricket pitch, volley-ball court, basket-ball court, foot-ball, hockey ground, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, etc.

The University has a vibrant extracurricular life and would organize many sports and cultural events. A world class stadium is under construction which would be completed shortly.

ACCOMODATION

A student's Council would be constituted and formed by nominating the students who are merit holders i.e. who have excelled in academics, N.C.C., N.S.S., Sports, Cultural activities, etc.

Objectives of Student's Council:

vTo lead the students and promote a sense of belonging and solidarity with one another and with the College authorities.

vTo collaborate with the members of the teaching fraternity to achieve the aims and objectives of the University.

STUDENT'S COUNCIL

vTo help the student community to develop their talents, vision and sense of responsibility, which will stand them in good stead in later years.

vTo achieve these objectives the Student's Council would be encouraged to organize various programmes with prior permission and in consultation with the Professor-in-Charge.

vEvery student should strive to do well and should remember that in this country not many get the benefit of Higher Education. Only privileged few get the advantage of Higher Education.
