MCP was established in 2002 as Medical Curriculum Partners to provide condensed allied health career training in partnership with colleges and universities.

Our 4 month courses produced 99% pass rates on national board examinations and an exceptional revenue generator for our collegiate partners, most who are still operating the programs successfully utilizing our old business model. In 2008 we revamped our educational business model and sold Medical Curriculum Partners to a large private equity firm. We were contracted by the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Professional School of Continuing Education to pioneer and implement a blended, video-& classroom-integrated curriculum in all of their six campus locations. From curriculum design video production, editing, and learning management system integration, to program launch and marketing, we took the lead. In less than a year after launch, the program produced a little over $1 million in sales.

Since 2012, we have been arduously working on developing a prestigious Culinary Arts program. For two years, our efforts have been focused on developing a unique and comprehensive curriculum based on the flipped classroom approach; integrating competencies for in-class and online learning utilizing hands on instruction, comprehensive brand-able marketing plans for colleges to use to enroll students, a plan to recruit affiliation agreements on behalf of our college partners for externships, job placement for partner school graduates, commercial training kitchen facilities contracts and partnerships, and a host of other services for which our years of experience has allowed us to overcome obstacles to put together a revenue-generating package for easy college partner

Our Long History of Successful Collegiate Partnerships

We extended our capabilities by going through months of negotiations and acceptance with world-recognized and respected culinary and artistic based companies to align and form strong partnerships with. The learning platforms our partners have produced utilize proprietary technology to deliver education through professionally produced cooking videos, and interactive assessments. They place a value on MCP’s business model and saw an excellent fit. Most of our partner companies’ CEOs and VPs and their staff are highly technology entrepreneurial and education-minded and come from top positions at the world’s top culinary schools.

Training Facilities

TRAINING FACILITIES & TEAM

If your school does not have any existing commercial kitchen training facilities, it’s not a problem. We have national contracts with existing culinary training kitchens in various major cities. Students may be required to drive up to 20 minutes twice a week for hands on kitchen training.

We have standard requirements that all our kitchen providers must meet in order to secure a contract with us.

The kitchens we select are all equipped with gas ovens and stoves of the same design and high standard employed by most professional restaurants and catering kitchens, giving students access to all the equipment needed to learn to cook professionally.

Most, but not all, will come with an additional demonstration kitchen, and if not, we make use of available space. All kitchens are fully air-conditioned and fitted with LCD screens and cameras enabling students to see the close-up details of each step of the dishes and techniques demonstrated by the chef instructors and guest lecturers.

One of our Texas Commercial Training Kitchens. This facility was recently constructed and everything was brand new. Our Kitchen selection team scours cities where we plan to partner with colleges for high-grade kitchens such as this on a regular basis.
