IDENTlFICA TlON OF LANDS

The subject claims (#1231142, #1246258 and #1246259) are located within unpatented Crown Lands in an unsurveyed area of Ashby Township in the County of Lennox and Addington, Province of Ontario. The approximate centre of the claim group is at UTM co-ordinates 311326m E. 5003314mN.

Access to the claim is via the Trout Lake Road, which turns south from Highway #28, approximately 39 kilometres east of Bancroft or 2'1 kilometres northwest of Oenhigh. Ontario.

The claim can be reached by travelling the Trout Lake Road in a south to southeast direction for 5.5 kilometres. At this point head in an easterly direction for 2.0 kilometres to a pine log bridge crossing Snake Creek. Travel another 0.5 kilometres to a site where test blast has been completed previously. From this point continue in a southerly direction up a steep incline. At the top turn left. on a bush road (south easterly direction) for approximately 2 kilometres. At a point where the road meets an east trending bush road turn right and follow this road to its end. At this point you are on the southeast comer of claim 1231142.

Prospecting was completed on the ridge north west and southwest of the bush road.

An overview of the area and the access is contained in the Key Map.

PROPERTY GEOLOGY

The property geology is made up primarily of high purity dolomitic marble although outcroppings of silicated marble and tremolite afe also found. Geology to the north and northeast of the claim group are most amphibolite

DAILY LOG

Day #1

Day one consisted of traversing the property to become familiar with the area south of Simpson Lake.

Traversing from a point from the bush road, two samples were taken along the crest of a ridge (samples #B-1 and 8-2) on claim #1231142. Two further samples (S-3 and 84) were taken from the southern extension of the ridge on claim 124625B. The marble on these ridges appears to be of high quality with very little contaminant minerals.

Samples were taken using a sledge and hammer. Care was taken to get samples with little visible surface weathering.

Very little overburden exists in the area, especially on the ridge. The overburden consists mostly of loamy soil. Trees are mostly pine and maple.

Samples were taken from four locations on Day #1. The samples were made into two composites, as follows:

Composite No. Sample No. Co-Ordinates Easting Northing

Comp-1 Sample #1 311537mE 5003299mN Sample #2 311558mE 5003230mN

Day #2

Entrance to the southern part of claim 1246258 was first attempted by the same access of the previous day but this proved too dangerous due to the steepness of the terrain and having to cross Snake Creek. In order to access the western part of claims, 1246259 and 1246259, it was decided to access the property from a bush road starting from the southeast comer of Trout Lake (located at utm coordinates 309992mE, 5002613mN) and heading east for approximately 1.2 - 1.5 kilometres

Two sample composites. one made up of one sample and one made up of two samples, were taken across the ridge in a westerly direction from claims 1246258 and 1246259.

All samples were taken using sledge and hammers from existing outcrops.

Comp-3 Sample #5 311146mE 5002797mN

Comp-4 Sample #6 311345mE 5002835mN Sample #7 311553mE 5002860mN

ASSAYS

Two composite samples were sent to SGS Minerals Services at Toronto/Lakefield, Ontario for Whole Rock XRF. Certificates are attached on the next page.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

A sample ofwhlte stone was submitted by Coloured Aggregates Inc. for measurement of solar reflectance and thermal emlssivityl and for the calculation of the Solar Reflectance Index..

The sample consisted of 8. single piece of white opaque rock, which bad been sliced in two as shown in Figure I, each with one surface suitable for measurement The lDeasured smface was flat, smooth and diffusely reflecting surface of the smaller of the two pieces. The sample was assigned the fonowing Sample Number.

2.1 Measurement of Solar ReOcc:tance per ASTM E90J-96 (Withdrawn)

The flat smooth surface of the cut sample was placed against the measurement port of Cary 5000 UV-VJS-N1R Spectrophotometer SIN EL0427203~ fitted with an integrating sphere attachment, and set up to make specular-included reflectance measurements. The Carry 5000 was set in

6CCOFdance with AStM E903-96, and the spectral reflectance was mellSured. The solar-weighted reflectance was theo calcwtded from the spectral reflectance measurc:men.ts using the weighted ordinates method of ASTM E903·96, The results are listed in Section 3.1 of this report.

2.2 ASTM £408-71 (2002) Metltod A Measurement

A Gier DWlkle DB-IOO IRretlectometer(MTI #B05652, calibrated before use) was used to me8S'llfC total nonnal IR reflectance of the sample. The measurements were made on the flat smooth cut surface of the sample.

A total of 12 measurements of 1R reflectance were made. The lOtal normal thennal emissivity of the sample was calculated by subtracting the average total nonnal IR refleotance from 1.0.

The conversion of the me8SUfed total nonn.J. thenna1 emissivity to total hemispheric thermal emissivity was done according to the method described in the text by Siegle and Howell l

. For a smooth flat surface with total normal emissivity ofO,SS, the ratio ortota] hemispheric emissivity to total nonnal emissivity is 0.94. Therefore, the total hemispheric emissivity was estimated by mUltiplying the measured total normal emissivity by the factor 0.94. The result is summarized below in Section 3.2.

A deviaUoD from ASTM E408-71 (1001) that we followed was that, while the reference IR reflectance sta.ndard disk that we used to calibrate the instrument before each use has been measured by GiG! Dunkle, that measurement of the IR reflectance of that disk is not traceable to Nationa1 Standards.

2.3 ASTM E1980-01 Calc alation

The Solar reflectance Index. (SRI) of the aggregate material was oalculated for three difterent va1ues of wind convection coefficients (5, 12. and 30 W.m-2.K'\ in accordance with ASTM E1980·0l. The results are listed below in Section 3.3.

3.0 RESULTS

3.1 ASTM E903-96 Results for Solar ReflectlUlce

The measured spectra.l reflectance is plotted in Figure 2, along \vitb the calculated solar-weighted reflectance. The solar reflectllDce was calculated to be 0.~56. The estimatoo total uncertainty of

. this: measurement, as stated in the ASTM E903-96 test i'nethod is «±3 to 4% for the bias of the measured solar optical propeny for a particular site over a year's average",

3.2 AsTM E408-71 (2001) Metbod A Emissivity Results

The 12 measurements oflR reflectance ranged from 0.1 11 to 0.126, with an average of 0.1 16. Subtracting the average IR. reflectance from 1.00 yielded a totalnonnal emissivity ofO.8S for this material. Applying the method described above.in Section 2.2 for conversion to hemispherical emissivity, the calculated total hemispherica.l emissivity is 0.831. The estimated uncertainly of this figure:is :to.050.

3.3 ASTM E1980-01 SRI Calculation Results
